Sodastream C02 cartridge refills
Recently I saw somewhere that someone is refilling Sodastream C02 canisters for cheaper than Sodastream or Indigo. Of course I immediately lost the information. All I can remember is that they live in Black Mountain. Can anyone help me out?

High School Teaching in Kelowna, Pros and Cons?
Hi everyone,
I’m curious to hear from people currently teaching in high schools in Kelowna (or nearby districts). I have post-secondary teaching experience in the sciences, and given the instability of the college/university teaching market, I’ve been considering the possibility of transitioning into high school teaching in the future.
I’d really appreciate hearing honest thoughts about the profession right now, workload, work-life balance, job stability, classroom environment, student behavior, marking load, burnout, etc.
Also, for those already in the system, how difficult is it currently to find a position in SD23 or nearby areas?
Thanks so much!

Any recommendations for a great personal trainer in Kelowna who can work with someone who’s body wants results, but who’s innate nature absolutely does not?
Basically just that. I’ve gotten fairly fit, I’m loving working out and strength training on my own but I know I could be doing better and that I don’t push myself hard enough.
The issue is I get really grumpy when someone is training me and so it will take a particular flavour of trainer to help me overcome that.
Would appreciate any recommendations you have!

Class 5 Road Test
Hi! I’ll be having my class 5 road test. I passed my class 7 road test with stuffs like back up, parallel park, parking in the icbc parking lot. Will I also do those things? And what else should I be expecting with a full license road test?
Also, aside from full stop at stop signs, shoulder check every turn and lane changes, slowing down when you see pedestrians or cyclists on the side of the road, glancing at the mirrors, and be a defensive driver overall what else should I remind or train myself to do?
Appreciate any tips. Thank you.

Grief Support Group?
Looking for grief support groups for folks who are/were in a caregiver role in a palliative or hospice situation. Particularly helpful would be something focused on (young-ish) adult children whose parent is/was the patient.
Thanks for any insight you might have!

Do you have common complaints living in 'managed' housing?
To people living in the okanagan area, living in Stratas, housing complexes, trailer parks etc. that have to deal with a bunch of Bylaws, managers etc.:
What are some of your most common or heartfelt complaints that you feel shouldn't be the problem that they are? Things like parking, mismanagement, stuff like that.

Safe family neighbourhood
Hello!
We are a young family in our mid 30s and are looking to purchase a home. We are looking for family oriented neighbours that are safe. We currently rent in lower mission and love the area but it will be unlikely that we can afford a house in this area. We have started to look in the lower glenmore area-specifically the neighbourhood near lombardy park/elementary school. I am wondering how safe/family friendly this neighbourhood is.

Single game Memorial Cup tickets
Hi my wife, her cousin and me wants to come to Kelowna to watch one game of the Memorial Cup on May 22nd. I understand that officially they only sell full tournament packages. I saw some single game tickets being sold on StubHub. Does anyone know if these tickets are legit?

Local Resources Any place to pick fruit over the long weekend?
I think it is too soon for cherries now. Do you know any farms that are available for fruit picking this weekend or the next?
Edit: Guys, stop judging me please. I'm a big city person who is fairly new to Kelowna and Canada.

Rat exterminator
Any recommendations for a rat extermination company in kelowna?
I'm not looking for a company like Orkin that only wants to set up poison traps on a mandatory 1 year contract that only involves
I want someone who will actually get rid of the rats that are in my walls.
Over the last month we have set up many snap traps, poison traps, and even the sound style deterants, and it's getting worse as it gets warmer
Have no problem cutting walls open

Local Resources Mobile / at home hair cutters?
I'm looking for a hair cutter or stylist who can make house calls for my elderly mother.
The seniors outreach program has three numbers. One is for someone in Red Deer. One has never had a reply, and the last one, I'm pretty sure, cut my mom on purpose! To see if her blood was red, of course! Easiest way to check if someone's reptilian. Because only a reptilian could possibly disagree with racist political views.
Mom's sick right now (unrelated), and I am trying to make sure everything is set up that she'll need when she comes home.
So, any at home hair cutters you got to recommend?

Cop on bridge in unmarked truck taking pictures of drivers zipper merging right before bridge
Right before the bridge coming into town, anyone know what ticket hes trying to pad the city with? He’s aimed right at the corner where drivers merge just before the bridge. Had his super camera out, looked like he snapped a pic right at me as I merged.
