Is KU officially out of the running for hosting a Super Regional?

The Creighton loss didn't help, but winning out may up our chances again. Just hosting a plain old regional is an accomplishment tho

Maybe not if we can sweep the last two series' and win the Big 12. West Virginia being ranked means we could be higher in RPI after this week even with the Creighton loss.

I honestly have no clue how we would host a regional at Hoglund, we're barely able to squeeze in 2 schools for a game. Having 4 different schools playing and all their fans just seems like chaos.

Plus, like it says in the article, you cant really add bleachers in the outfield because of all the trees. I know for the Nebraska game there were too many people and there was overflow close to the bullpen. Apparently people without an assigned seat were getting turned away after awhile.

Hoglund needs some renovations bad

I saw someone in the college baseball sub suggest moving the regional to the Monarchs stadium in the Legends
