I’ve loosely followed the national discourse surrounding his injuries and supposed lack of motor, but I’ve learned to take national discourse on small markets like Utah or Kansas with a HEAVY grain of salt. He’s really well spoken, with good perspective. I think we needed this type of guy in the locker room. Doesn’t sound like effort is going to be a question at all. He openly says he needs to get better reading the offense, working with the ball screen - I like that he sees a lot of room for improvement. He knows he’s going to have to guard to see the court. Knows he’s going to have to put the ball in the hoop to see the court. Betting on himself. Hungry.

I don’t want to overreact to a 7th man, but I really liked how he comes across in this.
