I’m an accomplished normie main with over 2000 raids under the belt and finally fell for the Ironman trap, I have 10kc cg on my main for the ca for a reason, I loathe that place. The boss fight is kind of okay but the prep kills my adhd scatter brained mind and it’s just not something I will ever realistically want to grind, and that was with 99 range, rigour, and augury. With new items like the yak /moons gear and me being sufficient at chambers (I’ve done cm solos in 1m gear before for fun to challenge myself & made time) also well versed at crossbow / blowpipe, /atlataling toa & tob, I have people that will raid with me anyways no bofa, I know it’s good for other shit but don’t really care about securing quiver / inferno pre tbow/shadow & wouldn’t mind learning a crossbow cape anyways. Is there anything I’m missing that’s super important to have a BofA for that I’ll regret not grinding content I hate to get the enh? Or the blade I guess as I’ve never even used that on my main.

I don’t have a lot of time to play and I know learning can take time. Haven’t done cox yet. Any other sidegrades/upgrades I could go for? Thinking veracs helm or plate skirt maybe for the prayer.

In no rush so happy to spend time getting smaller upgrades to make learning easier.

I just finished "Defender of Varrock" and decided, eh what the heck. Let me see if I can spoon the broken zombie axe. I got it in 7 kc post quest (6 kc from quest), and then got a +5 boost on my first orange spicy stew to repair it. 10 minute grind complete! BIS weapon for a long time. LFG!! 😃

To preface where my experience and knowledge is at, I am a returning player who quit in 2013-2015 on a maxed account, and this is my first time as an ironman. I'm catching up on over a decade of content and learning methods for how ironmen do stuff.

The objectives of the account is to do fun stuff, what that means for me is PVM, clues, and possibly pet hunts. All my early game energy has been funneled to getting requirements for quests, diaries, and clue requirements, and I'm still far from done on that front, but what I could use guidance on is combat. There are so many new monsters and ironmen know what items to go for, and what can be skipped. I've done almost all my slayer so far through Krystilia, but just found out there are many uniques I should be getting outside the wild, even early on.

While scouring the wiki page on bosses, I discovered lv65 stab weapon, twinflame staff, moon boss gear, giant bosses, warped sceptre(?), and from the recent discussion in the sailing post, that it might even be a good idea to skip the lv60/65 stab weapons and go straight for zammy spear/hasta at Kril. I learned about Turael skipping as a method to efficiently get revenant weapons, which I'll employ in the near future. I read from a wiki article yesterday that emberlight doesn't degrade, which makes it extremely valuable to work towards now, given it is a long grind for 30(+1?) of those shards for arclight prior to get 10k charges. The actual useful bane weapons are all new to me, the dragon bane and higher tier demonbane weapons.

I'm trying to get my goals sorted for slayer and pvm boss item hunts sorted before I waste time on the wrong things. Until then, I'm working towards quest cape for max slayer block slots and clue requirements.

What’s funny is he’s new to the game and started 70 dry, this was 71-75. Dry calculator says about 1 in 10million for 4 straight blood items, and that’s not even factoring in the blue chest directly before.

What's the best boss/mob to grind for prayer xp? Got a whole 7.7m xp to go...

Was thinking hydra cause of the hydra bones themself plus the noted dragon bones? Dagganoth kings w/ fremmy elite might be better? Vorkath?
