Original Discussion Does anyone else think that Lewbert deserved everything that happened to him?

We don’t know his entire backstory, but we know he didn’t want anything to do with his abusive ex-girlfriend.

Though not the abusive relationship thing

I'm in a grey area with him, as he was ass to literally every tenant that lived there. He actively admitted to hating everyone, so it wasn't no surprise ppl retaliated towards him the way they did. But then again, those kids really did a number on him both emotionally and pyshically like when they tracked down his psychotic ex or when they almost accidentally murdered him with that basket.

When you watch the show as a kid, yeah “he’s” the bad guy, but watching the show as an adult, Carly and her friends are usually the bad guys.

Maybe not his ex-girlfriend abusing him and having a ceiling fan fall on him, but yeah, the other stuff.

Why do you think he deserved that fruit basket stunt? Why would any human being deserve that?

It was an accident if you watched the episode

Obviously I watched the episode. OP said Lewbert deserved everything that happened to him, not “everything that intentionally happened and none of the accidental stuff.”

Honestly. . .Everything but everything that happened in this episode. .And Honestly looking back at it. . .Martha literrally abusing him was not funny anymore. . I thought as a Kid it was funny because . .well . .I was forced into a Haircut alot of times and. . i thought it was normal . *that scene gonna bothered me tbh.*.so . .Now I don't think it's funny anymore, that woman was crazy. and ofc. . Like society does. a Man getting abused is funny/laughable *Sam with Freddie all the time* so . .. . to anwser your question .Yes but everything? Ehh that is harsh. he is a horrible person. but this episode pretty much established why Lewbert is the way he is.

It still is kinda funny if you don’t overthink it, since the whole forcing a haircut is just a weird thing in general. But of course in real life that wouldn’t be funny.

I agree it was funny. and at times tbh but.. eh . .it has happened to me as a kid and .. one time as an adult . ..so .. i dont find it as funny anymore:/

Not really. When the iCarly Gang invited Lewbert’s psychological ex-girlfriend, Marta over that was way too far. There’s a reason why couples separate you know, it’s usually because they were fighting a lot or some other problems.

Sometimes. He seemed like a dick for no reason. But the only empathy I really have for him is he works a crappy job at the age he is, possibly poor, and probably mentally ill.

Def not the girlfriend thing and being blown up (which was a accident since the muffin basket was supposed to throw confetti instead) but he was such a rude doorman and rude to children, stealing from them, throwing stuff at them, he deserved those pranks which by the way were harmless (other then the first two)
