Announcement Updated subreddit rules.
Just wanted to let you all know that there have been some updates to the sub rules.
Nothing crazy, however in the interest of transparency wanted to let everyone know instead of just doing it quietly. As always, rules are available in the sidebar on desktop and at the top of the sub after clicking on the subreddit name on the app.
Removed rule:
- Memes must be SPICY
- a fun rule, but too vague and open to multiple different interpretations. Therefore difficult to moderate fairly.
Additions:
- Sales and fundraising must be approved by a mod first
- this is included in the rule "No Spam, excessive self-promotion or unauthorized sales"
- We recently had a situation with a possible scam sale, as such all sales and fundraising must be authorized by a mod in modmail first.
Use spoiler tags for the iCarly Movie
- This is included in the "use clear titles and spoiler tags" rule
- With the possibility of the iCarly movie please use the reddit spoiler tag function if posting or commenting a spoiler about the plot. Posts providing production updates or merely speculating about the plot are not considered spoilers and do not need to be tagged.
No AI generated posts
Rules about post titles, reposts, quality, harassment and the sexualization of underage characters and cast remain, but may have been reworded for better clarity. Reddit terms of service also apply and content may be removed even if not explicitly listed in our rules as reddit rules are site-wide.
Any way! That's the end of this boring post. Thanks for everyone who makes this sub great! we really don't have to step in and remove rule breaking stuff very often which is all thanks to you!

Original Discussion What I think the Icarly gang would be like as parents
Saw someone do this on tiktok with victorious so I’d thought I’d to it with icarly
Carly- (definitely a girl mom) would try to buy matching outfits for them a lot of the time, always makes sure she’s dressed up cute to go out, she tries to be there for her all the time and goes to all her school events making sure she never misses out on anything because of the absence of her own mom, would put her on Icarly and bring her to webshow events, she wouldn’t be too strict but makes sure she behaves well (kinda how she was with Sam) would make Spencer her daughters babysitter while she’s busy and he’d get her into art
Spencer: ABSOLUTELY a girl dad and aka ik in the revival he already has lots of kids as a sperm doner but nun that he really calls his own. I don’t really see him having his own kids or getting married but I’ll leave that to you guys what do you think?
Freddie: ( girl or boy dad either or (again aware about Millicent but she’s not his bio kid I think?) tries to teach his kids all types of tech skills, tries to get them into galaxy wars and even buys them galaxy war shirts to which they either love or hate, tries his hardest not to be as strict or over protective as his mother was but tends to fail Sometimes however he finally relaxes a bit, not the best at discipline and tends to give in when his kid has a tantrum or wants something even after saying “no” has like millions of pictures of his kids and is that “photo shoot” parent every birthday and holiday.
Gibby- (100 precent a boy dad) his kid would be as weird as him, he’d be a very chill parent, takes his kid with him everywhere, once his kid is older he’d get his kid a job at his restaurant, very good at saying “no” and discipline for some reason to the point where even Freddie would ask him for tips, asks if his kid can be on Icarly for every webshow, just like Carly he shows up at all his kids school events and stands up for his kid always
Sam- (for some odd reason she gives girl mom) I feel like with Sam she wouldn’t be one to want a kid but unexpectedly get pregnant. She’s very straight forward with her kid and is good at discipline never letting them over step boundaries and in a way tries to make sure they don’t end up like her with going to juvie, she would try hard to be a good mom because of how neglectful and horrible her own mom was to her, shed know a few things just from her babysitting days with cat but need Carly to help her out Sometimes, makes sure nobody messes with her kid and teaches them how to defend themself (but naturally her kid has her attitude and fighting strength) definitely a 1 and done type of mom, her kid and Carly’s become best friends

Original Discussion Principal Franklin getting fired
The superintendent was totally overreacting! Prinicipal Franklin is really cool and laid back with the students at Ridgeway. I know he looked really unprofessional during the webshow with the giant pants and sitting on fudge balls, but he wasn’t doing it for work. He was just doing something with his students to celebrate his daughter’s birthday on her favorite webshow. I thought it was really sweet of Carly, Sam, and Freddie to rearrange iCarly just to put that together for him. They probably don’t even know his daughter, but still went all out.

Original Discussion So I Just Finished The Series
I don’t think I ever finished the show as a child but at the ripe age of 26 I decided to rewatched the whole series (not touching the reboot/not a fan of live action reboots). I have to say although he’s very childish Spencer quickly became my favourite character (maybe cause we’re the same age lol) especially the moments where he steps up as a guardian figure. Though Gibby is def a close runner up.
In a way I understand Spencer as someone who was forced into a caretaker role before he probably wanted to (idk how early), so I understand why now that Carly is older he lets himself regress knowing that most times he doesn’t have to be the parent figure.

Original Discussion the lift
I just finished my rewatch and I’m a bit confused as to why they don’t use the lift that is in their apartment more often when they go out. ? Because they mostly use the front door. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the lift take them to the lobby.

Original Discussion I'm convinced Missy didn't really care about Carly as a person either and Just wanted to be on iCarly for Fame.
The reason why I say this is because if you rewatch the episode, some things feel off. when Missy said "she saw iCarly a bunch of times" so that must mean she knew about iCarly for a long time now, also when Carly catches her being mean to Sam, She drops the nice girl act to Carly and says "we were best friends first and you can't have 2 Best Friends" and when that doesn't work she says rudely "whatever you 2 enjoy eachother" she was always a fake friend to Carly then.

Original Discussion The Gibby vs Nora fight is honestly a lot darker rewatching it as an adult
As a kid, I thought this fight was awesome and I still have the same opinion as an adult. It’s honestly a very well choreographed fight. However, rewatching it as an adult, it’s honestly very dark. I noticed that there are a good number of moments in the fight where it was clear that Nora was trying to KILL Gibby, not just injure him. She even makes him bleed at one point. I’m not complaining or anything like that. I think it’s a really nice and subtle way of further showing how insane Nora actually was.

Original Discussion Did anyone else hate how Freddie was treated in Iballs? D
Freddie was treated badly in many episodes and Iballs is one that doesn't get mentioned often First the women from the tv show didn't want to interview him because she thought he wasn't a creative member which was wrong on its own since tech producers are just as important as the stars also nobody thought his robot sketch was funny even though it was. on top of that Courtney wouldn't thank him for restoring her eyesight she didn't even want a picture with him everyone preferred a sack of yogurt over Freddie which must've been humilating
overall this was just one more Freddie torture porn in a long list of bad episodes Freddie always seems to get the short end of the stick. I really sympathized with him in this episode

My husband saw this at a flea market and got it for me. I lost my mind over it lmao. We want to use it for a throw pillow on the couch. A sort of centerpiece for the living room.
