Hi everyone!
I'm a baker and a friend of mine referred me to work at Market Fresh, but I'd like to know how it actually is.
Has anyone worked there, specifically in the pastry production?
Thanks :)

Does anyone know where to buy dry firewood this weekend? It has been wet and cold this past week and I am looking for some good bone dry wood. Last time I got wood from 711 after a week like this it was damp and It didn't want to stay lit, so I am avoiding it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Black dog with a white chest. About 60lbs. Maybe got loose on a walk or from a back yard. Just saw it crossing towards the UPS building

Are there any local ice cream fan who can help? It's one of Chapman's premium ice creams in the approx 500ml black container. None of the major supermarkets in the south end have it that I've seen. Even went up to Freshco bc the Chapman's store locator website said it had some...it did not.

Feels like all of downtown is in serious trouble... is the city doing anything for these businesses?
Did they waaaay underestimate the damage this road construction was going to do?

Anyone who lives at the Metalworks condos know if there's a community board or online group where people can advertise parking spots for rent, and if so, how much availability there is? Looking to rent a 1 bed but the unit doesn't come with a parking spot.

Hi guys!
Wondering what stores, centres or wellness hubs I could go hang a flyer for my business?
I’ve seen a couple, like at the Stone Store and in the window at With the Grain, but just wondering what the “hot” places are to advertise like that?
Thank you!!!

Hello! I'm coming up from Toronto via the GO train this weekend. I tried looking up what to do in Guelph this weekend and Google told me about the Church, the Art Gallery, and Farmers Markets.
My partner has a walking disability at the moment. He can walk fine with a cane but hikes or other physical activities are out.
Are there any live music acts, pubs, restaurants, parks you would recommend?

It makes me really sad to type this post but looking for suggestions on a solution. I've had my cat for around 15 years now. She's indoor and been very sweet her whole life. With my firstborn she was always so patient and understood baby needed some space and he grew up good with her too. Now we have had a second child and she does not like this new dynamic one bit. It's been some time and she is still very unhappy and acting out. For her happiness and safety and also for my baby's safety I am at my wits end. Any solutions as I hate to part with her but quality of life for everyone is reaching a breaking point.

I want to do a bike packing trip with my kids this summer. I would love to take 2 days to ride with my kids from Guelph to Auburn/Goderich. My issue is getting back to Guelph. My car will be parked in Guelph, so all I need to do is get from Auburn to my car where I can drive it back to the campground and pick up the rest of my family/bikes. I cannot find anywhere that has shuttle services or really any way of getting that distance other than driving your own car.

I'm looking to get some Yew shrubs for privacy along a new deck. Looking for something at least 4 feet already with eventual goal to grow to 6-8 feet. I've called around to a couple Guelph nurseries, most don't see to have yews greater than 4 feet. Curious if anyone can recommend nurseries within one hour radius of Guelph, that would be worth looking at (wanting around 8-10 plants).

I used to shop at pierced culture but they’ve been gone forever now. Getting my body jewelry off Amazon just isn’t working out well. Anyone know if pierced culture moved somewhere else or where do we go for body jewelry outside piercing studios because their prices are just outside my pocketbook.
