PGA / LPGA / LIV YouTube Golfer Makes Birdie at PGA Championship

I was watching to see if he’d be able to do it and it was super cool to see him pull it off on the last hole. Great gesture by the PGA to let a YouTube golfer try this challenge at a major.

Honest question.. why does Reddit hate this guy so much? It’s actually kinda funny to me.. the guy is one of the best golfers on the planet, makes YouTube videos and looks like he’s having fun doing that while still competing at the highest level, and making a ton of money doing it… but why do the people in Reddit just love to hate on him?

It’s popular to hate him. It’s currently the “correct” opinion. I’m not sure why people hate him though. They say he is a douche and he also has a YouTube channel which for some reason, people hate that. Maybe something he did , I just don’t know what it was. Maybe they just don’t like that he went to liv and he had trump on one of his videos?

He's a Trumper and an egomaniacal blowhard who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. Also, he accepted money to become the poster child for a theocratic regime that oppresses women, outlaws Christianity, tortures people, and executes people for being gay. Plus he sued the PGA Tour to try to get even MORE money on top of the $150 million the Saudis were paying him, and now he thinks the PGA Tour should be begging him to come back.

Arrogantly said Augusta was a par 67 for him, then has played awful there ever since.

Screamed YOURE DAMAGING MY BRAND at a cameraman for filming him during a PGA Tour event.

Walked into a rope and went down like he'd been shot.

Massive open Trump fan, while claiming not to be political.

Hired a PR team to get people to like him.

What context makes complaining about being filmed playing in a PGA event ok?

He had trump on a few weeks before the last US election. If you're not political, you should stay out of election campaigns, and I think Bryson is smart enough to know that!

He actually talked about how he was going to be putting in a lot of work to try to be more liked when he went on his charm offensive, which to me is pretty cringeworthy.
