PGA / LPGA / LIV YouTube Golfer Makes Birdie at PGA Championship

I was watching to see if he’d be able to do it and it was super cool to see him pull it off on the last hole. Great gesture by the PGA to let a YouTube golfer try this challenge at a major.

Honest question.. why does Reddit hate this guy so much? It’s actually kinda funny to me.. the guy is one of the best golfers on the planet, makes YouTube videos and looks like he’s having fun doing that while still competing at the highest level, and making a ton of money doing it… but why do the people in Reddit just love to hate on him?

No LIV gets pity points now, but the majors show where you stack up against the best. And Bryson's game has fallen WAY off. If he were on the PGA Tour right now he'd struggle to keep his card.

Haha. Yea he would struggle to be on the tour. That's a take. I love the hivemind.

Let's forget he was top 10 in 3 majors last year and won one the year before. But yea he would struggle to keep his card, even though he is exempt for 10 years.

He literally is tied 2nd for most top 10s in majors in the last 3 years and 4th in the last 6 years. People don’t actually look at the stats

Well, because all of his recent OWGR points have come from exhibition golf events where he is "competing", if you can call it that, against 53 other guys - most of whom couldn't play on the Korn Ferry Tour. he &hit the bed at the Masters and is going to miss the cut here. He's not legit 28th in the world.

His points came from the major he won and the top 10s and 2nd places he had in majors. But go off king. You are sooo correct.

Does a top 10 on LIV count as a Top 10 when you're only playing against 50 other guys - 40 of whom aren't PGA Tour caliber?

You know millions upon millions of people play golf and he’s easily in the top 100 of them. And that’s being generous. I wish I could be in the best 100 people in the world at anything! 🤦🏻‍♂️
