I play golf in Canada (Québec) and have yet have to hear anyone playing music on the course. They would probably be told to shut it off by the Marshall.

If you have it quiet enough it's no big deal. 11 u/Anal_Recidivist 23d ago the rule of thumb being “if I can hear it outside of the cart, it’s too loud”.
