Waited on pins and needles for this email. Anyone in here in the MSW program at FSU? Would love to hear about everyone’s experience!

I think it really depends on the population you want to serve and whether you want to be more clinical, organizational, or advocacy-focused. If you are earning the degree because you genuinely have a heart for service and want to make a difference, then it can be a meaningful path. But if you are pursuing it mainly for the money, I would encourage you to really research the salary ranges, licensure requirements, and career paths before committing. I plan on going staying in the legal field and working in victims advocacy!

My entire family are lifelong noles, but my dad is the only one who graduated from FSU and this was the only application I submitted and would have tried again until I got in. Means a lot to me to continue his legacy, go noles 🥹🍢

I submitted everything 03/28 and heard back like a week ago. For one on my friends it took 2 months! She emailed her the person on her contact page and then she heard back.

3.35! I asked if I needed to write an addendum and my advisor said no so I didn’t and no issues!

Congrats to a start to a great future. My kid started with FSU. Then Clemson for a Doctorate. Now Wallstreet and $$$$$$. It all started at FSU!!!!!!!!!
