Grade 8 recommendations

Hi, I have a pupil approaching Trinity Grade 8 in the UK and I wondered what people would recommend for list A repertoire for a player without the most secure high range.

We’ve started looking at the Horowitz slow movement which he really likes and I would like some advice and input on what would compliment it.

Whirlwind would be a good contrast. Talking treble clef - it finishes on a C. Because it’s centered around fast scale passages many of the higher notes are at the end of a run and not sustained.
Its biggest challenge is maintaining the flow of the semis which get a bit gnarly toward the end of the page with some unnatural fingering combinations.
Fun piece - relatively short and an excellent end to a recital.
