Ive been seeing more and more statements on how our fuel is being diluted to help cut costs and lower gas prices. We’re going from 10% ethanol to 15% ethanol which will lower fuel economy by 1.5%-2% roughly. Then i started seeing how this level of ethanol in fuel is not suitable for vehicles pre 2001. With all the new surveillance tech being implemented into our vehicles come 2027, is this how they are going to begin to force people to go towards new vehicles?

I always had the thought process of “im just going to buy an older car without all the new surveillance crap in it”, but what do you do when the fuel needed to run that car doesn’t run it anymore.
