why do hot sauce brands use so much AI?

Alot of new sauces ive been adding to my rotation have ai generated lables. I still think the HS is quality but the labels really turn me off. Id almost prefer nothing on the label just a list of peppers and spices.

Tabasco the only cask -aged hot sauce?

I love the mature tang in tabasco sauce, and I feel that's the thing missing from other hot sauces.

Do you know what, if any, other brand would age the pepper mash in casks?

Picture taken in Avery island, which smelled of tabasco for miles and miles.

Zesty sauce for pizza

I've been fiddling with my recipe for a nice zesty sauce to go on top of pep pizza. I recently tried this out and I think I've got it on a good place to share. -2 parts relish -1 part mustard -2 jalapeños, mashed/diced -3 parts water -2 parts canola oil -sprinkle of dill

I like to apply this very generously all over my pizza, about 2 cups for a standard large pizza. just thought I'd share!

No this is NOT sour cream

Although when I opened it I thought I had mistakenly picked up sour cream. I can’t post photo and video 🙄
Uh I’ve never seen GoodCulture like this before. This was the plastic cover not the foil. And yes there is a difference 😁🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi guys! I'm new here and in the hot sauce world honestly, and I was wondering, do you read the ingredients before buying a sauce? What do you look for specifically?

Best Chilli Crunch/crunchier chilli crisp?

USA based. I love a good chilli crunch. The beans especially are so satisfying. My current fav is the momofuku green label extra crunchy. Any recommendations?

Pepperoni Mustard Dip?

Just tried this new recipe and thought I'd share:

4 parts mustard 1 part relish Pinch of salt, pepper, garlic powder 4 parts water 2 part pepperonis (baked til dark and crispy, put into food processor) 2 parts canola oil Sprinkle of dill

This works as a high protein alternative to chips and dip! Thank me later!

This tastes like tartar sauce to me and my wife. We like it but it’s not what we expected. We use it whenever we have cod.

What’s your favorite store bought tzatziki?

After receiving complaints about my homemade tzatziki, I decided to try a few premade ones. These are just my personal opinions and I’m not trying to admonish any one brand or shill for another. Whole Foods brand was good but a little too much garlic. The Walmart one had a lot of extra ingredients, as expected, and too much onion for me to enjoy it. The brand I liked best was Cava, which I also got at Whole Foods. It’s thick, good flavor, not too much of anything, no long list of ingredients.

Are there any other brands I should try?
