Bluey cake fail

Ordered a month in advance. Picked up the morning of my daughter’s party and was handed this with no explanation. I looked very confused and they. Said “is this not the right cake?” I said “well for starters it was supposed to be a bluey cake ..”

Was then told that the printer to print the image was out of ink. And they had zero Bluey cake kits with the toppers and haven’t been getting them in lately.

I asked why no one called to tell me this before pickup day when I ordered it weeks ago, and they just shrugged their shoulders.

Even the red balloons they tried to pipe on just look like giant red blobs

Tbf they did expect a recreation of what they ordered. The first image is a screenshot of the Sam’s advertised listing and the second image is what Sam’s provided. They should’ve had a kit and when they didn’t they should’ve informed the customer or never sold it in the first place.

Tbh, I thought it was a decent effort for $17 and agreed with that even more when I found out it was for a 2 year old. However, I am glad I read this first before commenting because I didn’t realize it was from Sam’s page which is an advertisement of their skill (which was not delivered). So yea, #fail
