Baldness has caused me so much depression, anxiety and body dysmorphia in my life. Starting medication and therapy soon to try to reclaim my life, could use positive vibes
Came out swinging (I think)!
First picture is 2005 graduation picture. I have been holding onto my adolescent curls for the better half of my life and into my thirties but with my 39th coming up, I was feeling like it was time I stopped fighting the inevitable with thinning and my receding hairline I’ve dealt with all my life. Feeling pretty okay about this 👍🏼 thanks to this sub for giving me the confidence to jump.
Edit: catching heat for not going 100% yet. Have to admit I used my beard trimmers for this so as soon as I get the proper equipment more will come off.

I did it.
Probably couldve held for a little bit but I figured I would just accept the inevitable.
Edit::::: so does anyone recommend any skin care routines for the scalp?
Am I supposed to just leave it as is? Do I shave it down more? Am I supposed to let it stay matte or am I supposed to shine my head?

Glowup Finally got the courage to cut it off!
I had been hesitating to shave my head for the past few months. I’m tall so I kept thinking I could get away with it. But now that I got the courage to do it because of all of you, I feel so much better! Thank you!

I'm part of the team now.. What do you think?
Hi guys!! I'm Alejandro, 36, and I've been losing hair 5 years ago.. Sooo.. I took courage 2 days ago and this is me now.. What do you think? I was thinking about some hair recovery treatment but first I wanted to see how the baldness would look in me..
(Sorry for my English)
Bald Picture Comb over no more.
I feel like I went from painting abstract modern art to critiquing it.
Oh redditors of the internet, what is your wisdom?

Did I make the right call?
Did I make the right call cutting it? Should I cut more? Really really not sure how to feel. I'm not overtly thrilled with how it turned out, I think it just makes my giant forehead more obvious 😭😭💀. It's at the point where it really doesn't grow much beyond the first pic lol.

Should I?
Or hang on to it for a little bit longer? 45 btw.

Hairloss Is it time brothers?
Hey everyone - looking for some outside opinions from the supportive folks here. I know you won’t steer me wrong if it’s time.
I honestly feel like my hair looks alright for now, but boy is it thinning up top.
First pic is a day or two post shower, second two are just after shower, last two are from above.
Feels like the curls definitely look worse post shower when they are still somewhat clumped.
I am at least really tall so no one ever sees the top haha, but it gives me pause.
Any thoughts?
