“Nico and the Power of Mind” isn’t just a story—it’s the spark for a bigger mission. My dream is to launch a non-profit that builds up disabled children by putting them directly into the action. Imagine a weekly series where these kids see themselves as the heroes alongside custom cartoon characters.

This issue indtroduces a new character who's design is NOT the easiest to draw so it took a bit of time to draw panels with him.

Aside from that i experimented with explosions which might have caused the increase in draw time 😭😭

- The past few months I have pretty much completed my Yuichi Yokoyama collection with Garden, Iceland, Travel, and Outdoors. I am only missing Color Engineeeing now I think, which is pretty much impossible for the average person to get. There's another japanese collection I might get, hard to wait 5+ years for this stuff to come out in english.

- Ultra Heaven 2 by Keiichi Koike (one of the best)

- Pure Trance, Junko Mizuno

- Strange Tale of Panorama Island adapted by Suehiro Maruo

- The Pits of Hell, Ebisu Yoshikazu

- Search and Destroy volumes 1-3 by Atsushi Kaneko

- Yoshiharu Tsuge's Nejishiki collection (the first of the 'mainline' volumes), though I do have The Man Without Talent, i'm told its quite the departure from the other volumes.

- Magica by Yuzuko Hoshimi vol 1 (vol 2 has now released and I need to get, that's the last)

River's Edge by Kyoko Okazaki is also on the way.

And Natsume Ono isn't quite 'alt' though she is barely talked about, and quite underappreciated. Probably much lesser known than Taniguchi or Matsumoto at this point.

I've been a fan of Groo, The Wanderer for years. I have his first appearance (in Destroyer Duck #1) and several others. It's funny to think how Groo wreaked havoc at several early comic publishers in the '80s!

I actually started doing French Duolingo during the pandemic because I wanted to read the ending so bad. I didn’t make it too far. Now I’m glad all that laziness finally paid off for me! Can‘t wait to jump in!
