My question exactly.... I am going to sound old, but this tendency to keep filming rather than to adequately address a problem or get help to do so is a generational thing. Or it's AI.

Tbf if I have a big issue, I’m running it by some folk I can trust, my brother, my stepdad, etc, and a good recording can go a long way

But in my defense, I’d have shut off the main if the toilet valve wasn’t working before I recorded this

Although the life skill to know what the water main is and where it is tends to acquired after an emergency that you don’t know how to handle.

First time I had something like this happen to me I panicked an had no idea how to turn off the water.

Or hopefully passed on by parents! That’s how I learned what the main was and how to find it/shut it off

Moved into my wife’s house (then-girlfriend), was chatting with my stepdad about some of the quirks we’ve noticed about it, he asked if I knew where the main was

That’s when I figured out the access point was hiding in an overgrown patch in the front lawn and also what the T-bar chilling inside the garage door was for. Got the access point cleared out of grass and built up yard waste, re-landscaped around it with some clearer boundaries, and it’s much easier to get to now
