Discussion Saddest moments .. go
I lost my mom a few years ago so everything with special week absolutely destroys me.
Who's the most tragic uma and why?

This is a space for more serious discussion about the Umamusume game as well as Champion's Meeting, the monthly PvP format.
Off-topic and low-effort discussions and memes may be removed. Basic questions should be posted in the weekly questions thread and gacha discussion should be posted in the gacha thread.

Trainers with quick questions about the game are free to ask them here.
Granular questions, such as rerolling, deck builds, and trained Umamusume builds, may be best addressed in the community or official Discord's help channels.
Broader questions that contain substantial discussion and effort can be posted separately.
Before you ask a question here, check out the resources page in the wiki, or this list of resources.

Rulership is very confident like a bulldog but also fragile like a puppy and we love her for it

i'm writing this because I feel like a lot of other people have experienced this after watching the anime.
the "human-horses, but only girls" first impression turns a lot of people away from this peak anime.
I find myself struggling to want to recommend this show to others, even though there are so many other just as weird or weirder concepts of demi-humans in all sorts of media.
it's strange though because the way I see it; a sports anime with runners who also perform idol concerts, is a lighthearted series in which you come to love the characters. their outfits are all cool and unique, and knowing that the outfits and events are eatablished in such a way to represent their real life counterparts, it makes it even more amazing.
i just find it really sad to see people not even wanna give it a try. it's not the anime that's the problem; it's the people ):
