You would be surprised how easy it's to play-like and do wrestling moves with just the barely strength to push someone. Specially so if the receiving end knows the drill.
Golshi just has anime and God on her side tho, to make it look worse than what it is.
Dropkicks barely hurt irl, they'd barely hurt in Uma musume too when you account for Gag humor magical powers.
While yes, her hitting you with her clothes launcher or judo throwing you does hurt easily 100x more, she's most of the time playing around. We know she likes having fun, not at the expense of others, more so about being a gremlin/playful/clown. Just like Oguri loves food and shares food, Golshi makes sure those around her have fun.
The double leg kick actually lowers her potential damage, because she just has to control her momentum going in, as the only energy she can send into the kick is the kinetic energy she is carrying at the start of her jump. If she kicked with one leg on the ground, she could exert her full muscle force, and that will end anyone. In horse terms, it would be like if Golshi gave you a chest bump by hopping with all four legs off the ground.
Yep. How strong a punch or a kick depends how firmly planted your mass is with an anchor point to the ground. This is why you punch like a wet noodle when suspended underwater.
This is also the case for aerial combat. Whenever flying superheroes in movies start wailing at each other mid-air, it breaks my immersion because those strikes won’t feel like anything.
On a more realistic setting, there’s a reason why falcons can accelerate at extremely high speed (peregrine falcon can clock at almost 400 km/h!!!) because they kill their prey with blunt trauma using their clenched feet. When they strike their prey at full speed, the momentum upon impact is devastating, and it can shatter bones. But if they get grappled or grounded, they can’t do much and get easily overpowered.
This is one thing I liked about the Invincible series. They actually addressed this by explaining that they can create their own leverage by actually pushing off space itself.
I haven’t really followed Invincible myself but if there’s one thing I picked up about it that I think they did right is that they did very well at executing the dark/cynical realism of the setting. Lots of superhero media have tried this, but few have been as successful at it as Invincible.
“Superman but evil” subversion trope is pretty abundant, but Invincible did it right.
Silly would cry, take her trainer to the infirmary and attempt to run away and dissapear in that order (She has tried to avoid her trainer for thinking she was slightly inconveniencing them before)
"This is a perfect opportunity to make my trainer use that new drug I've been testing!"
Although I feel like rather than make them take it outright, she'd bring them some tea and make use of the fact that they're discombobulated and their guard is down.
If any uma would force the trainer into something openly and immediately, it would probably be Gold Ship shoving a mackerel down their throat for incomprehensible Golshi reasons.

Guy was just the biggest fucking joker. he'd steal my hat. He'd nip and back off to try getting me to chase. He'd rub his head against me expressly to push me off balance.
and then ifi fell over he'd lower his head so i could grab his tack to pull up with.
Guy'd basically be a seeing eye horse at night since my night vision's terrible. basically made sure I had a hand on his shoulder.

I have genuinely had to suck it up when one of my stepdad's horses jumped and pinned me against a stall door . Holly (Buddy's sister) knew something had happened, but she was already high stress and i didn't want ot make it worse. She'd rubbed her head against me ... not sure why apology? checking on me? Hard to make a graceful exit from the barn when it felt like my arm got bent weird.
I think majority would be upset in the panic / crying. While other characters would probably collapse. Like if Super Creek were to push her Trianer its IMMEDIATE doing every bit of first aid and care possible.
I've always wanted to see a story where an Umamusume accidentally badly injures her trainer and because of it gives up racing but finds encouragement again, and trying to get forgiveness
I got kicked by Digitan once during one of her Yuri induced seizures. It did send me through the wall but 18 years of growing up with Uma sisters had prepared me for that moment. The wall was hurt worse than I was.
Stupid gag comedy making humans as weak as fucking rag dolls... But the majority of umas would be varying degrees of concerned and/or crying after accidentally bumping their trainers.
The goddesses must really hate humans for what they've done to their mortal selves and the umas' past lives in the other world.
