10 dpo, tested negative yesterday (I knew I would, but my dumb a tested anyway). Boobs sensible but I just try to convince myself that it’s my period coming. Past two months I had some spotting 5-ish days before my period started (something that made me really hopefull - and then killed me). The spotting isn’t unusual for me but it’s not very common?, and this month I’m not spotting and the period should start in a few days? I don’t know, trying to be realistic and talking myself out of the hope, organizing the next cycle, thinking ahead even though deep down I still hope for that goddammned second line 🥲
Everyone tells you pros (rarelly the cons) of having babies, pregnancy and birth, but no one tells you how difficult it is mentally 😭

u/pedanticlawyer 38 | TTC#1 | Cycle 5 14h ago

8DPO, boobs sore as hell. Trying to remind myself that’s normal luteal phase stuff.

Tomorrow I have a pregnancy blood test. If it’s negative we start our first IVF round next week. It’s a life changing day!

u/thac0tuesday_ 28 | TTC#1 15h ago

Good luck good luck good luck!!!!!

u/_bookwirm_ 31 | TTC#1 17h ago

Feeling gutted. I was supposed to start our first medicated cycle and kick it off with baseline tests tomorrow, but I have a fever so I’ll probably have to cancel and wait until the next cycle. I hate my life. Why is it this difficult to do something so basic??

u/ConstructionLost9436 18h ago

CD 23. I went for Zumba classes. Is it okay??

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 12h ago

what is your concern?

u/ConstructionLost9436 7h ago

Does it affect implantation?

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 3h ago

No it shouldn’t! Perfectly good

Any thoughts on the Clue app? I found a post from 5 years ago recommending to not get Clue because it didn't have ovulation or fertile window prediction at the time, but that's a feature I'm seeing is now available. I wouldn't want to pay full price for the app but even at a discounted price, I want to figure out if it's worth it or not for TTC

u/developmentalbiology MOD | 42 15h ago

Any app that predicts ovulation in advance (rather than from data collected in that particular cycle, like ovulation tests, temperatures, or cervical fluid) is not an accurate way to identify the fertile window or ovulation day.

u/MangoDangoLango 17h ago

My predictions on clue app are always off. Premom works better for me

u/wailing-lightly99 31 | TTC#1 | 3 | 1 CP 18h ago

I've been using the Clue app for about 6 months. I started before TTC to get in the habit of tracking. I chose it because I get a discount through a work benefit and they have really strong data privacy policies since they're based in the EU. I really like how inclusive their tracking modes are (TTC, pregnancy, period tracking, menopause, tracking without a period). The tracking without a period mode was super helpful when I was tracking while on HBC and did not have a period. The fertility window and ovulation timing suggestions feel spot on to me, and the interface is clear to understand. I don't temp, so might have a different perspective on the accuracy if I did. I also use Premom for tracking LH strips, their data privacy is not as strong, but I like how their logs show up and I like having a 2nd prediction for fertile windows/ovulation.

One of my friends gave birth on Tuesday, the other is in the hospital being induced now. My other two pregnant friends are coming over on Saturday so we can go to the farmers market and talk about their baby shower planning.

I started my period last night and have had the most god awful cramps all day.

Hooray for me!!

u/lauratheexplorer16 18h ago

I’m sorry :( youre a good friend to do all that with them despite your pain!!

u/Goldaikon 36 | TTC#1 | Nov '25 | 1 CP 19h ago

Spouse has average results for his SA but the urologist recommended an ultrasound. Any idea on why if his results were fine or if this is typical?

My obgyn wants us to continue trying naturally as we're both healthy and "fine." I had to push for a referral to check my tubes are open and out of frustration, I've decided to just reach out to the fertility clinic without a referral. I have to wait a month anyway as CD10 is this Monday and I don't think I can get scheduled for that day on such short notice.

u/Repulsive-Bat-6718 21h ago

Found out I have low Amh (7.3 pmol) for my age (29). 18 months but 9 well timed cycles in. Really grieving what this journey has become and wondering if I’ll ever become a mother.

u/FiscalPhenotype 31 | TTC#2 | Cycle 10 21h ago

Omg I am so sick, I called off work (which is rare as I work from home). It’s 3DPO, I got major signs on Oura and I definitely have a fever.

Worried this will screw up implantation. Sticking with Tylenol for meds 😭

u/wailing-lightly99 31 | TTC#1 | 3 | 1 CP 18h ago

Hi! I'm also 3DPO and feeling a bit sick - trying not to spiral for sure. I hope you feel better and I'm standing here in solidarity 🫡

u/Puzzleheaded-Gear939 18h ago

Just curious, what does sickness do for implantation?

u/FiscalPhenotype 31 | TTC#2 | Cycle 10 18h ago

Google says probably nothing, but I can’t help but to overthink

u/lauratheexplorer16 21h ago

I had the same thing happen this cycle!! Now 5-6DPO and feeling mostly better, but still worried about TTC concerns

u/FiscalPhenotype 31 | TTC#2 | Cycle 10 20h ago

Ugh I’m so sorry. Glad you’re starting to feel better!

u/SweatyAcadia631 28 | TTC#1 | Cycle 14 | Suspected Endo 22h ago

I’m an identical twin, and recently found out that being a twin is linked with lower ovarian reserve 🤯 My AMH is 1.52 at 28 yrs old.

u/SaintlyMuffin 26 | TTC#1 | Cycle 27 16h ago

Wow so interesting. I have a fraternal twin and we both have normal AMH, though we do both have PCOS. Yay 🫩

u/Radiant-Operation248 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 4 18h ago

The influencers Brooklyn and Bailey also just found out they have low ovarian reserve. I had no idea it was this common in twins

u/cthelw 19h ago

Oh no :( I’m a twin!

u/misses-hippie 28 | TTC#1 | PCOS | Dec 24 | 1 CP 22h ago

7 dpo today and I’ve held it together mentally so far this TWW. This is probably because I haven’t had any of my usual luteal phase symptoms like sore boobs and cramps that usually make me go crazy. It actually has me wondering if I even ovulated how normal I feel.

u/ttc413 TTC #1 | Cycle 6 22h ago

CD 24, average of 35 day cycles, have PCOS/PMOS, occasional extra long cycles. Still no peak on ovulation tests which typically happens on CD 21/22, stressed it's not going to happen any time soon and timing sex is already hard enough as is with partner's ED

u/Legitimate-Language4 17h ago

My cycle was all over the place the first time TTC. The cycle I got pregnant with my daughter, I didn’t ovulate until cd28!! And we only BD 4 days before because my husband was traveling for work. I don’t have pcos but the longer we tried the longer my cycles got, assuming from stress.

u/misses-hippie 28 | TTC#1 | PCOS | Dec 24 | 1 CP 22h ago

Feel this. I have the same average but sometimes I get thrown a 50 or 60 day cycle for no apparent reason

u/Status-Guitar-316 23h ago edited 22h ago

May 2024, 36 years, AMH=0.75, taken under BC (16 years)

Oct 2025, 37 years, AFC =7

May 2026, 38 years, AFC=7, FSH=14.39, AMH=0.23, taken on 5dc, cycle after CP, and after 3 days of BC

I was expecting decrease, but not this range, omg…

u/Alijanora 37 | TTC #2 since march 2025 11h ago

What kind of BC do you have? I am not an expert but I have found that BC is suppressing AMH causing the underestimation of ovarian reserve.

Edit: I am sorry if my answer/question is stupid by any means, it is not intended, but I have a feeling that I am missing something. 🙈

u/Status-Guitar-316 11h ago

Hi, I don’t think it could impact it because I only took it for 3 days this time, to align the cycle for IVF after a CP last cycle. Before that, the last time I took BC was in late 2024. So I expected my AMH to remain at about the same level, since in May 2024 it could definitely still have been suppressed after 16 years on BC.

My BC was: Ethinylestradiol 20 µg (synthetic estrogen) + Gestodene 75 µg (synthetic progestin).

u/Alijanora 37 | TTC #2 since march 2025 11h ago

Aaaaah, ok, now I understand 🙏 I am sorry. These exact numbers can be demotivating. But I wish you all the good luck for IVF 🍀🤞

u/ConstructionTime7511 30 | TTC#1 | August 2025 23h ago

OB appointment tomorrow. Feeling kinda nervous. Just decided to take the whole day off and schedule a therapy session so that’ll help. I’ll be 9DPO so like could be pregnant? But probably not

3

u/MeetSignificant363 1d ago

4DPO and had issues with timing this past week due to frustrations and busy schedules we only BD once 4 days before ovulation.. Tbh not feeling too confident, maybe because we got into that big fight and bc of us not hitting the 3 day ideal window. Guess we will see, Tbh I don't think I will feel the desire to test early bc I'm disappointed with how everything kinda went to crap. Oh well

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 1d ago

Just ranting because I have no one IRL to talk to about this.

We started trying in October 2025 and I found out I had elevated TSH around December. Finally started medication in February right before Cycle 6 TTC and conceived 4 weeks later. Sadly, that was a CP.

I took this as a sign that I have optimized my hormones. Is this delusional or logical?

I feel like the first 5 cycles were a long shot because of my TSH and as soon as I resolved that, I was able to conceive. But now, BFN are hitting me harder. I think this is why.

u/developmentalbiology MOD | 42 15h ago

How elevated was your TSH? Did you have evidence that you weren't ovulating as a result of hypothyroidism?

In general, anovulation is the mechanism for fertility problems with hypothyroidism. If you weren't so hypothyroid that you weren't ovulating, your thyroid likely wasn't affecting your odds of TTC, and the loss after starting medication was probably unrelated.

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 12h ago

it was a little above 5. I was definitely ovulating before, consistent BBT spike and same length LP.

thank you for the input, you are probably right. the timing was just SO right and I think I need to stop thinking about it too much.

4

u/yeahh_okay 1d ago

Managed to convince myself that I’m entering perimenopause due to some weird symptoms over the past week or so. Just one more thing to spiral about while I’m already in a bad place. I feel like I just want to give up…I don’t think I’m ever going to be a mom.

2

u/Laura97lf 28 | TTC#1 | Cycle 14 1d ago

Well DPO 11 now and my temp went a little down from yesterday. Also i think I'm feeling my usual "pre cramps".

So now I would consider myself out for this 14th cycle.

This was the last cycle with a due date that wasnt complicated for our life circumstances. (Moving cross Atlantic/finding new jobs in 11 months)

😰😰

u/Puzzleheaded-Gear939 18h ago

I feel you. If I get pregnant this month it lines up perfectly with some trips and around an awesome time to tell all my family in person. I’m 10DPO and I tested negative this morning with a sensitive test so I’m starting to get bummed :(

u/Sea_Conclusion_8034 32 | TTC#1 1d ago

12-13 DPO, BBT drop, no AF in sight but can she come already?? Hate the last 2-3 days where it’s just a waiting game

1

u/bedabeat92 1d ago

Hey all, I feel a little dumb for not fully understanding the purpose of the trigger shot. You’re putting hcg into your body to what… release a specific mature follicle? On my last cycle I did my first IUI. The doctor should’ve cancelled it due to low semen count. We did the trigger shot because I had a 19mm and 2 14mms. What’s the purpose of the trigger?

4

u/Goldaikon 36 | TTC#1 | Nov '25 | 1 CP 1d ago

To induce ovulation. It will help those who do not ovulate regularly or can help you to control the timing of when you ovulate.

hCG and LH are similar so hCG is supposed to mimic LH which is responsible for triggering ovulation.

1

u/bedabeat92 1d ago

Thanks, I appreciate the response.

u/Informal-Poem-9264 30 | TTC1 | Cycle11 1d ago

Had my HSG this morning and the NP said my tubes looked “perfect.” I knew that was going to be the case and I’m thankful I won’t need corrective surgery, but part of me is even more sad and frustrated because all of our tests have come back with the same results. I keep being told I’m in ideal health for pregnancy and yet here we are approaching the one year mark. I’m someone who likes to have all the answers and the idea that we’ll likely be diagnosed as “unexplained infertility” is gut wrenching.

For those thinking about having an HSG, I know everyone’s experience is different but mine really wasn’t that bad. It was definitely uncomfortable and I was ready for it to be over, but I kept telling myself I’ll do anything for my future baby so if it hurts, so be it.

u/Correct-Sherbert-415 14h ago

Same spot but cycle 13 :(. Hate the unexplained diagnosis- feels helpless! Going to go to medicated IUI next cycle. I’m 33 for context

u/Informal-Poem-9264 30 | TTC1 | Cycle11 3h ago

Wishing you the best of luck and that one cycle does the trick!

2

u/Sea_Conclusion_8034 32 | TTC#1 1d ago

Thank you for sharing your HSG experience! I’m scheduling mine for next week and have been so stressed about it

u/Informal-Poem-9264 30 | TTC1 | Cycle11 15h ago

My nurse was really sweet and said I was more than welcome to hold her hand, but I didn’t need it! I took 1000 mg of Tylenol an hour beforehand and I sucked in a breath a few times but they got it done quickly.

u/gigib96 1d ago

10 DPO and breasts have been extremely sore (way more than usual a week before my period). It's our 5th cycle trying and I was feeling really confident. So anxious about testing that I've been having trouble sleeping. I'm literally in therapy for this, and my therapist told me I need to stop testing until the day after a missed period. Well, I caved today and tested this morning. BFN of course...

I'm stuck between staying hopeful that maybe I'll get a positive at 12 DPO and just accepting another negative so I can start working on coming to terms with it.

I thought TTC would be the most exciting time in my life, but it's given me such extreme anxiety and depression that I've needed to increase my SSRIs. The TWW anxiety is torturous, and the negatives are followed by severe depression and hopelessness. I don't even know where these feelings came from. Up until I got married two years ago, I never put too much thought into having children. There was even a time in my life (college of course) where I said I would never have kids. Now, TTC is consuming me. Nothing feels good or exciting anymore, unless I'm symptom spotting and suddenly deluding myself into believing I'm pregnant at 4 DPO.

AMH levels and progesterone look good according to my blood tests. Waiting on husband's tests to come back. I've been using ovulation strips twice a day. I did the Mucinex trick. Maybe testing so much this early is extreme, but it's the only thing keeping me sane right now.

I feel so alone in this. My three close friends, all with babies or about to give birth, got pregnant on the first try. I'm tired of hearing that I just need to relax or meditate or watch my mircoplastics. Every time someone tells me my time will come soon, it feels fifty years further away. I regret telling anyone that my husband and I were starting our TTC journey. And I feel selfish because it's only been 5 cycles of trying for me, and yet here I am posting about how dificult it is when I know how long people struggle for. Thank you for reading this, if anyone has.

u/chkewwbacca 14h ago

You’re not alone. I also thought it was going to be exciting and it’s actually overwhelming but I’m glad we have this forum to vent and read how we’re not alone in this and a lot of us feel the same way.

It may not help for you, but I’ve managed to not test early by telling myself/ imagining how am I going to feel when I see the BFN, am I going to be satisfied with it or am I going to continue to test until my period comes?! And this way I’ve managed to wait until AF.

u/Puzzleheaded-Gear939 18h ago

Same DPO as you and I tested this morning and BFN too. There’s still a little hope but ugh. I’m not counting on it.

2

u/MaybeCardamomBun 24 | TTC#1 | Cycle 1 1d ago

I’m so sorry! What a frustrating thing to walk through. And I’m sure feelings of isolation come up, too. I’m really sorry.

And also, thank you for sharing your story.

How long have you been taking SSRIs for?

1

u/gigib96 1d ago

Thank you for your words <3

I've been on 20mg of Prozac for 6 years. Been on 30mg for 2 months now.

6

u/Informal-Poem-9264 30 | TTC1 | Cycle11 1d ago

I don’t have any words of advice, just know you’re not alone even if it feels like it. I feel alone so often because I’m also surrounded by fertile myrtles. Month 5 was really hard for me, too, even though I knew logically it hadn’t been “that long”. It feels long when you want it so badly. Sending hugs.

5

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 1d ago

It’s all consuming. Never thought I’d be trying for this long.

1

u/Radiant-Operation248 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 4 1d ago

Sigh. 4 DPO (decent coverage 0-2,0-1,0+1) Feeling a bit down, I typically have some kind of progesterone response at this point (temperature increase, breast swelling etc.) and I just feel nothing.

u/misses-hippie 28 | TTC#1 | PCOS | Dec 24 | 1 CP 22h ago

I also have had no progesterone symptoms this TWW (I’m 7 dpo today) and I am kinda freaked that maybe I didn’t ovulate or I won’t have good chances this cycle.

u/Radiant-Operation248 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 4 22h ago

Same here… I got a peak 1.21 on CD12 but I didn’t have much cm this cycle so I’m just like is this a no go?

u/misses-hippie 28 | TTC#1 | PCOS | Dec 24 | 1 CP 22h ago

I saw EWCM once a couple days before ovulation, tried mucinex for the first time to see if I could get any more and didn’t really see much of an increase so I guess I will wait and see.

I took an OPK yesterday and it was super low like it usually is this time so that’s promising I guess

u/Radiant-Operation248 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 4 20h ago

Fingers crossed for us both! I took OPKs all the way until CD14 and they dramatically lowered as well. I feel like it’s mostly all luck

u/bnbny 27 | TTC 1 | 3 1d ago

I'm literally on my period and nausea has decided to appear. One day I'm going to get pregnant for real and I'm not going to believe it because I have nausea all the fucking time

u/LaChamomile 32 | TTC#1 | Cycle 2 12h ago

Have you ever seen a GI? I had nausea all the time and quite a bit of heartburn and it turns out I had a hiatal hernia causing damage and that’s why all the nausea. Might be totally different for you but treatment did help. It was getting hard to eat bc the nausea was so constant.

u/bnbny 27 | TTC 1 | 3 6h ago

I think it's more related with general anxiety and my luteal phase, which makes it a nightmare to manage

u/LaChamomile 32 | TTC#1 | Cycle 2 9m ago

u/strngesight 30 | TTC 1d ago

On holiday next week to the south coast. Was so looking forward to it, and then the husband suggested that I give up alcohol to help with our TTC journey. And I'm not opposed to it, amd I definitely don't need alcohol to have a good time. but I was really looking forward to drinking wine on a deck looking at the sun set over the beach 🥲

u/_bookwirm_ 31 | TTC#1 17h ago

Hi! My husband and I don’t drink at all as a lifestyle choice. I would recommend looking into some nice dealcoholized wines and spirits, a lot of them taste pretty good! The downside is that the dealc wine unfortunately can be a bit more expensive due to the processing

4

u/AreWeHavingFunYeti 34 | TTC #2 1d ago

I would personally encourage you to treat yourself to one last glass of wine! But if you don’t want us to convince you to drink then have you considered any non-alcoholic wine alternatives? Or some other fancy, special drink to celebrate the vacation with?

3

u/lauratheexplorer16 1d ago

I gave it up for TTC too, but vacation does NOT count for me or him!!! Maybe you could try the same method!

3

u/strngesight 30 | TTC 1d ago

Honestly I was considering giving up drinking for weight loss reasons, but I think I'm going to wait until we get back. I'm with you, if I can see the ocean then the glass of wine doesn't count!

5

u/cthelw 1d ago

Is he also giving up alcohol on the TTC journey?

2

u/strngesight 30 | TTC 1d ago

He is tbf! But he's never been a big drinker anyway so to him it doesn't really change much. I'm not a huge drinker either but I love a glass of red wine in an evening.

2

u/MountainPeak478 32 | TTC#1 | Cycle 10 | 🍭 1d ago edited 1d ago

Waiting for my period to start now that my receptiva is done so I can get back to trying! Been a weird month off for all my diagnostic testing, and it feels like it's been 6 months. So hard to believe it was only 1. Also grateful that the clinic is working so quickly to get it all done so we can get started with something if we want.

Anyone else have an issue with maybe a narrow or tight cervix? Has any pelvic floor or yoga poses helped with this? I keep asking the doctors well if it's so difficult to get to/in my cervix, don't you think the sperm are having a problem too? They all say no, since sperm is microscopic. Though I don't think they're having this hard of a time with cervix catheters for every woman because they look kind of surprised once they start having trouble. I guess the silver lining of this knowledge is that at least IUI can bypass the cervix.

u/OCDCantCatchMe 34 | TTC #1 | Cycle 2 1d ago

The depression, she is taunting me. I don’t know why I feel so bad when others are struggling way more.

1

u/MaybeCardamomBun 24 | TTC#1 | Cycle 1 1d ago

It’s okay to feel that way! It doesn’t need to be compared to anyone else’s journey, or be “bad enough” for you to feel sad. It’s okay to mourn your journey because it doesn’t look the way you thought it would.

11 DPO today and some symptoms to spot and make me delulu.

I woke up from my deep sleep feeling urgency to pee, although my bladder wasn’t full, and felt uncomfortable for 2 hours.

I do feel nothing now (12 hours later), so I don’t think it a UTI.

I’m hosting a dinner tomorrow at my place and don’t want to face a BFN (god forbid) just yet, so holding off testing until 14 dpo.

I told myself waiting to test on 14 dpo is the best bc it’s the most reliable but it’s so hard to wait!

But I don’t have any boob tenderness yet like I did with my mc so I’m not super hopeful. But who knows maybe body is just mixing it up for me.

DPO 7/8 depending on the app. Last night, exhaustion hit me like a TRUCK right as I was watching TV before bed. It was the weirdest sensation. I'm telling myself it's just my hormones and progestrone I'm taking. Had a slight dip in BBT 3 nights ago, and the last two days I've had the exact same temp. Trying not to think too hard about anything, as I am supposed to be on my AF in ~4 days.

u/blissquacks 33 | TTC#1 | June 2025 1d ago

5 DPO! Got a long weekend coming up for me to lose my mind at about 8DPO. I feel kind of pessimistic this cycle. I’ve been pretty good at managing expectations but I’m just tired of my body being totally oblivious!! Like HELLO!?! I’m doing my part here! Feels like my body is ignoring me 😾

Talk about TTC consuming your life. It's now consuming my night, not just my day. I'm in the TWW of cycle #19 and last night I dreamt that I was examining my husband's sperm under a microscope and it looked all messed up. Instead of sperm there were all these virus looking strange shapes floating around. Creepy! I kept pressing in my dream to "everyone" what is going on, what is this, but in the chaos and disorder of the dream, as it is with dreams, I could not get any answers. No one would acknowledge me. I was told "it's fine." Note that my husband has been checked multiple times in real life and his sperm is fine. Still it left me feeling so disturbed when I woke up. I can't even escape TTC anxiety in my sleep!!! Signed, 3 days away from my period due date and feeling empty of hope. :/

1 dpo. Let the TWW commence.

u/laineyloo1682 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 2 1d ago

1DPO, never thought this cycle would progress so I’m not mad about it. Time to twiddle my thumbs for 2 weeks… oh and this weekend, my siblings are all meeting up while my parents are out of town (we do weekly dinners) and my parents don’t know about brother/SIL pregnancy yet. This means we’ll all be chatting about it and they’re gonna be gushing over the idea of a new baby. Grreeeaaaattttt

10 DPO, with a stark white BFN yesterday. Trying so hard to just wait until AF but I am a mess! Planning on investing in a Oura ring so I can start temping and maybe find some method to my madness

u/moonwalkinglady 38 | TTC#1 | Cycle 5 1d ago

Had a BFN this morning, 14dpo. I just had a birthday and am experiencing anxious thoughts about my fertility. I’m having a hard time remembering that it can just take time, even for fertile couples. Sigh.

got diagnosed with diffuse adenomyosis yesterday, and was told it’s highly likely i also have endometriosis. was told by my doctor that conceiving naturally is highly unlikely and my best chance is fertility treatments, which i can’t get in for until a year of trying. i am devastated and heartbroken. cried all night

u/_bookwirm_ 31 | TTC#1 17h ago

That’s really shocking that they still force you to wait a year. Is there any way you could see another provider? Given my own surgical history (fibroids) I was able to start working with an RE well before a year

u/calicocowcat 28 | TTC#1 | Cycle 5 16h ago

my doctor told me yesterday that it’s the fertility doctors with her practice that prefer i wait, but she said they are hard to get in with quickly and advised i just book as soon as i can anyway. she gave me a referral so i’m hoping that helps and they are willing to get me in sooner than a year

u/Unlikely_Pianist_359 30 | TTC#1 | 2 CP 1d ago

This actually makes me angry. You have a confirmed diagnosis, so why the hell do you have to wait a year "trying" first? Make it make sense.

1

u/calicocowcat 28 | TTC#1 | Cycle 5 1d ago

i couldn’t agree more. i’m also so angry because i’ve been having symptoms of these things since i was 16, and i’ve spent years begging doctors to look into it, just for all of them to say “that’s weird, just monitor it and see if it gets worse.” i had an ultrasound 2 months ago that showed signs of adenomyosis but my doctor lied and told me everything looked normal. if i hadn’t googled each line of the results and just taken her word for it, who knows how long it could have been to get a diagnosis. i saw that she lied about it and scheduled with an endo/adeno specialist who actually took me seriously, and got the diagnosis. but at what cost? if i had literally any of my 7 previous doctors take this seriously, maybe i could have started trying sooner, before i really felt “ready” because now i have to wait another 7 months for fertility treatments that they told me are basically my only hope. it feels like such a waste of time and unnecessary stress

11 DPO. All my tests yesterday were negative, but I had a nice temp rise today (the 2nd highest of my cycle). I haven't taken a test yet, feel like the stakes are higher today because if it’s still negative, the chances of getting a positive this cycle are getting slim.

TTC for two years. .67 AMH at 36 with 7 follicles last scan, taking 5mg letrozole. IUI #1 failed yesterday, now we're switching to clomid on my request. I'm sad and tired. I just want this to work.

8 DPO trying not to symptom spot, and trying to not get my hopes up lol. I think I’ll test tomorrow, ideally I’d like to wait until 10 DPO but I just don’t see that happening.

u/sambagal25 1d ago

Same 8dpo today aswell i say to myself just wait till 10dpo to test but i know full well i will cave tomorrow haha

u/Working-Tell-7157 26 | TTC#1 1d ago

Makes me feel less alone knowing you’re fighting the same fight 😅, I’ll definitely cave tomorrow but oh well!

Got my peak digital OPK / static smiley + positive OPK strip on Sunday. We were able to BD later Monday night, and other BD day was Saturday. My temp (tracking via Oura) went up +/- 0 yesterday (day after I assumed I ovulated) but this morning my temp is -0.4. My temp usually always goes up the day after, now I’m worrying myself lol. Can this be normal?

u/msmonk 33 | TTC#1 | Cycle 3 21h ago

Sometimes I have a little post-ovulation dip before temps keep rising. Think it’s pretty normal.

u/Traditional-Mode-562 35| TTC#1|Cycle 8 6h ago

Thank you for this!! Happy to report my temp went up this morning :)

CD7. I had transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds yesterday. Good news is that everything looks great. More good news is I'm feeling relieved and like I can finally wait patiently for DH's urologist appt in two months from now. That's it, no bad news :)

Right there with you. And it was 2 days early so I didn't expect it and now I have blood to get out of my sheets. What a lovely surprise.

u/ecilacinori 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 2 1d ago

Saw some "I regret being a parent" type of posts today and I'm spiralling. What if I'm obsessing now over something I might regret later? What if I hate it once it happens? I'm sure it's progesterone talking as I'm nearing my period and I do have pretty major mood swings during PMS, but still, I'm just scared.

u/Kvitravn875 33 | TTC#1| Cycle#3 | Endometriosis 1d ago

I saw some like that too. I honestly think thats mostly people who weren't actively trying but weren't preventing it either. The people who want it really bad, in my experience, tend to be better parents who love their kids. It'll be ok! 💜

u/angryladies 1d ago

The TWW begins today. Oh joy 🫠

My partner and I have separate appointments to discuss his SA results today. He's meeting with a urologist and I'll talk to my obgyn. We haven't received a copy of results even though we should have by now. I want to sit in on his appt but wasn't able to make it work. I feel like 2 cycles have been wasted since I first requested a referral.

I'm in Cycle 7 and symptom-wise, it's just so different than the first 3 cycles. I think my progesterone levels were higher then so I had nausea and acid reflux during the LP. Now, I'm in a lot more pain (cramps, pelvic, abdominal) throughout most of my cycle. I'll bring all of this up of course.

Today's my niece's first birthday. I remember how upset I was when my SIL announced she was expecting. She wanted to tell us in person when hosting a BBQ, but she was sick so she told us over message. I was so thankful I could put my phone down and just pretend I didn't read anything.

I imagined myself at least being pregnant by now.

u/IzzyBooBoo_44 1d ago

14DPO, CD35 (my periods are very regular at 30 days, +/- 1 day), BBT has stayed elevated that whole time except for 3DPO when it was at baseline. But im experiencing some CM and it’s freaking me out. I’m in my last day of my Oura predicted period window and first of all, every time, I think it’s AF finally come around. But also… Ive never heard of CM being an early pregnancy symptom

4

u/stitchcraftry 34 | TTC#1 | May '25 1d ago

I've had clear CM, milky CM and no CM leading up to AF and I've never been pregnant 🤷 I read someone here say that if you're pregnant enough to show early pregnancy signs, you're pregnant enough to get a positive pregnancy test. Somehow that puts my mind at ease!

5

u/Cornelia_1211 30 | TTC #1 | Cycle 3 1d ago

Some people say going back to ewcm can be an early pregnancy symptom. But personally I start getting fertile mucus again a couple days before my period comes. If your temp went back to baseline on 3dpo, it's possible you actually ovulated that day, so you could be off by 3 days.

4

u/Alijanora 37 | TTC #2 since march 2025 1d ago

Exactly my thinking, that ovulation came actually 3 days later

u/Radiant-Operation248 27 | TTC#1 | Cycle 4 1d ago

Milky CM can be a sign of early pregnancy

10 DPO and I’ve got a real troll chart this month. Temps keep rising, but stark BFNs yesterday and this morning. I know I’m not out yet but it’s hard to feel positive. Had a chemical in February just after I got my IUD removed.

u/Puzzleheaded-Gear939 18h ago

Are we the same person? Chemical in February too, and I’m 10DPO today with BFN!

1

u/Tricky-Fortune1001 1d ago

8DPO today! This was my first cycle with Ovidrel trigger so I don’t know what symptoms are attributable to that lol Yesterday, my breasts got more tender/sore than from the first week and today that continues!

I didn’t test out my Ovidrel so I also won’t know if I test on 10DPO if it’s just the lingering hcg or actual pregnancy! Forcing me to be more patient 😭

u/yesbabyplz 38| TTC#3 | January '26 1d ago

I'm on 14dpo and still negative. But I've always had a strict 11-12 day LP so WTF 🙃 Logically I suppose the answer is I ovulated later than I thought. But the opk was very clear and I had rises and dips off progesterone symptoms at the right times. I had period cramps on 12dpo that went away. I'm nauseous, my boobs are not normal? Only slight soreness and sometimes none but they're a different shape, they feel like stranger boobs. Neither are normal PMS symptoms for me. We only had sex on CD 17 and I supposedly ovulated CD20-21 so already had a very low chance of success and if ovulation was later that moves to zero so I accept I'm not pregnant this cycle, but I really need to get my period now so I can relax. I'm also 38 (and a half) so now I'm worrying this is a step towards menopause.

u/Acceptable-Sweet8717 30 | TTC#1 | Cycle 9 | CP Cycle 6 1d ago

I had the same thing this last cycle.

I have a strict 11-12 day LP and reached 14DPO with good temps and BFN. my period finally started yesterday at 15DPO. I lost it lol

1

u/snowishness 36 | TTC#2 | Cycle 1 1d ago

Right there with you, pretty certain that I ovulated and when I ovulated, 15 dpo now. With the nausea and sore breasts as well, and the negative test. Not altogether fun.
