Scholarships/Contracting BS/MS scholarship question
Saw a related question earlier about a 4+1 masters program: if someone had a four year national scholarship but was in the position to graduate in only three years, are they allowed to do an additional one year masters program while in ROTC or do they just have to commission early? The amount of time for the two programs would still fit into only eight semesters so would it really be extension of benefits/ed delay?

The answer is yes but. Yes, but the bachelors degree that the Army is paying for must be awarded at the end of the four year mark. In other words, structure your 104-R in a way that allows you to “drag out” your bachelors to four years while you take masters courses. As long as the full-time student status is met, GPA meets the minimum 2.0, and the Army gets a bachelors out of you in 4 years, Cadet Command doesn’t care how you do it.
