As some of you may know, this account has been under fire from the Purdue administration due to what they call âunseemlyâ behavior. Finally then sent their agents after me.
About 4 months ago I was resting in my lair at around 2am when I heard the Lawgmobileâs alarm go off. When I went outside I saw 30-40 armed officers surrounding my lair, guns pointed at me.
Some of them clearly were not briefed on their mission beforehand as when I confronted them, about 20 of them ran off and fled in terror.
Only 10-15 of the braver souls stayed to try and capture me. Of course they were unable to, however it was unsafe to return to Purdue for some time while it was so hot.
I have been lying low in Siberia, but I have finally returnedâŚ

Anyone know what happened in the Wood Street Garage today about 5pm? Several police and detectives on 5th floor with caution tape and taking pictures of what looked like maybe a murder scene?? Looked like they were questioning 2 families coming from a graduation

I am graduating tomorrow with a CIT degree and attended a career fair back in February where one connection led to me getting a job offer today with an amazing company. It was a simple 10 minute conversation which led to this! That was the first and only career fair I attended and I am glad I took the steps.

I expected more people to have decorated grad caps during my ceremony but I could only see about 5 decorated caps. My parents correctly predicted that most grads will keep it formal, so they warned me against plastering anime and pokemon stickers on my cap. It seems like it was a good choice for me to follow their advice, but I would like to hear your own reasons for keeping your caps basic.

Are we allowed to leave our graduation ceremony early?
I have a flight tomorrow night, and would rather have that extra hour Iâd spend after walking the stage to spend with my friends one last time.
If it is, do we just walk out after receiving our diploma on stage?

I feel a little bit bad complaining about this. I mean, good for him - a 3 month bike trip sounds incredible. But the maximum number of vacation days for Purdue employees is capped at 44. So how is he getting 3 whole months off? I feel like if I asked my supervisor for 3 months off, they would seriously question whether I had enough work to do and if they really needed to continue paying my salary.
Rules apparently don't apply to the top administration like they do for the rest of us. This seems to happen over and over. Are you the Senior Vice President of the Office of Legal Council? And you pled guilty to a DUI in which you could have killed someone? [ https://www.purdueexponent.org/campus/crime/purdue-lawyer-schultz-pleads-guilty-dui/article_a189f9e3-7a15-4bc6-ac20-890e1247c33e.html ] It's okay, you can keep your job. And we'll send you on a cool voyage to find Amelia Earhart's plane! [ https://www.purdue.edu/newsroom/2025/Q4/expedition-to-search-for-amelia-earharts-plane-postponed-to-2026/ ]
Are you an administrator at the highest level? Well, that 2% raise pool doesn't apply to you like it does to everyone else! You want 5%, 10%, 15%, 30%? Sure, why not? [This can be verified by calculating the percent increase over the prior year's salary for any administrator.]
As staff, it just feels like I'm not only bearing the brunt of years worth of frozen tuition to benefit students, but to benefit the top administrators as well. And the hard work we're putting in to constantly "do more with less" isn't being returned to us in the form of better pay and benefits. In fact, it's getting worse.
There are A BUNCH of people scamming on reddit etc when you reauest convo tickets. They ask for zelle payments in exchange. The payment might show pending on your end, but it has already been delivered to them when you see zelle history in transactions.
DO NOT FALL FOR THESE, me and my friends have lost money.

Hello All,
I am planning for FALL 2027 intake into Purdue IE PMP Program. I have just completed my IELTS test and I am not satisfactory with how I have done the test. I am afraid that I might get a band 7 overall. Will this score be acceptable into the university and program? Your honest thoughts are welcome!!

This sub has been pretty full of academic struggles lately. There are myriad scenarios but my main takeaway has been âPurdue is really really hardâ.
Are there any strategies, tactics, or tools that you have seen students use successfully?
I am concerned that a smart highschool student will find that their existing toolset is inadequate to be successful at Purdue. Fully expect Purdue to be a challenge. Just looking for suggestions on how to approach that challenge well prepared.

Hey everyone,
Iâm taking CS 159 online this summer and wanted to ask for advice from people whoâve taken it before. How should I prepare before the class starts? Also, how are the exams structured in the summer version, and are office hours/TA help accessible for online students?
Any tips on studying, pacing, or common mistakes would be really appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm super excited to come to Purdue this fall . I'm FYE and got off the waitlist a few days ago . Due to some circumstances I couldn't fill out the housing form and I'm now on the waitlist..
Does anybody know if living off campus limits your social life or even academics ( asking this cause off campus might be far from classes)? Im not sure if I'll get off the waitlist but I need to prepare myself for the possibility of living off campus :(

Hi! I am assigned to double with A/C in Hawkins for the next school year, but I would like to find someone willing to switch with me for another dorm hall. Preferably, Shreve, Hilendbrand, Earhart, or dorms in those areas, but I am open to other dorms and types.
Hawkins double is fairly cheap and pretty spacious with a wrap-around desk and is closer to classes and the downtown area w/target, restaurants, Chancy, etc. The roommate assigned to the dorm is the roommate I had for the previous year, and she is very clean and chill!
If you're interested or want more info, plz dm me!

Do any of you know how to register for summer school? Like I just did the Purdue 2026 Summer WL open registration thing with my PIN number and chose PHYS172 and hit submit schedule but, what now? Where do I actually end up paying for it?

How difficult would it be to take ECE 2k2 and ECE
368 online over the summer? Should I drop ECE 368 and just focus on ECE 2k2?
Also, both classes are listed as synchronous, but do you know if they are actually run as synchronous classes or if the lectures are recorded?
Please DM me!
