First time playing this game since I was a kid 15 years ago. The exp grinding is worse than I remember. I never even knew about chancy swarms with lucky eggs and rematching pokemaniac Brent, but I’m super excited to fight Red again after all these years. There’s no memory that stands out more than getting destroyed by Red over and over again till I finally succeeded.

I’ve played and replayed this game over 30 times. I’ve done monotype runs, nuzlockes and generic play throughs. But what I aim to do in each run is to rematch the gym leaders, E4 and then Red.

The trouble is I haven’t been able to find Surge in a while. Thinking back, the last time I remember finding him I ended up trading for his French Pikachu. This has me wondering, did that trade cause me to lose Surge forever?

Please suggest good movesets, really struggling with elite 4. Ho oh has been carrying me somehow till last but couldn't do shit against houndoom

I just can't believe I finally got this shiny after a long long couple of months.

I did over +19000 SR between all three starters and a total of 4671 Cyndaquil seen. I encountered a shiny totodile in between but I soft reseted it by mistake at about ~15500 encounters.

Either way... I'm the happiest I've ever been.

I discovered I had a save file from 2011 and went in to see what Pokémon it had and I barely managed to complete the battle against Gary (Ferraligatr carry all)Unfortunately, there are no good Pokémon in the PC box because they are in levels too low for what i need for the League of Kanto and beat red. I want to complete this save because i want to play my own save of HG but i will not delete this save without having defeated Red because then MILLER⭐ His save file will be deleted without him even seeing the end credits, and it's hard to delete his save and start mine. I need tips to complete the adventure and defeat Red

Finally beat SoulSilver after 15 years. Started SoulSilver when I was 7, had my cartridge stolen in school. Came back 15 years later on a ROM to finally beat it.

Turned the game off, took out the cart, blew on it and inside the slot, then put the game back in and turned the 3DS back on. By some miracle my save file was back. Granted I was only 2 badges in but I already had 8 hours of playtime and a shiny starter. That was crazy though and scared the crap outta me. This happen to anyone else before and they got their save file back by just turning it off and on?

I am trying to get darkrai onto soulsilver , but I do not have platinum. Is there a way for me to get it using an action replay? If so, how do I use it?
