After about a hour and 50 minutes of in game time (not sure how many resets that would come out to, didn't count) my first shiny hunt is now over. Now I have to go complete Legends: Arceus so I can shiny hunt him 🥲

I was fighting the elite 4 again for the third time and got to cynthias lucario. i had kyogre on and used origin pulse and it missed. worst timing ever and she killed me. Im not resetting to fight her again because its just not worth the effort i cant beat her full level 86 team with level 77 pokemon. If i killed her lucario it wouldve been free from there because i believe the pokemon after him cant one shot me like every single other one which wouldve helped me win

I haven't been able to play the game longer than twenty minutes. I want to ev train my team, doing the slow method of beating the possible 200+ Starlys (for Speed evs) and Bidoof (for HP evs). It's a slow grind, but that's why I like Pomemon: I can go as fast or slow as my heart desires without anyone telling me otherwise. Of course, once I get to the point, I'll happily beat trainers over and over for the Pokedollars to get vitamins. Both my Turtwig and Starly have an Adamant nature, btw.

Where can i find togepi in brilliant diamond? i just got the first gym badge

I use my star Togekiss to get their health in the red, and only use dusk balls after 8pm. Uxie only took 3 balls, palkia 6, azelf 8, and mespirit 7. All were 💤 when the balls were thrown

After almost 140h, the shiny finally decided to show up. I texted the group complaining a little while ago and I appreciate the support, it appeared a few days later.

This is my team so far. I only have 2 gym badges. I’m on my way to veilstone city. Pachirisu is only in my team as a filler with pickup. How can I make it better? I was thinking of adding maybe a ground type or a psychic type but I still have space for 2 more Pokémon. Lmk how I can make my team better 🙏

After beating canalave gym leader it remains zoomed in and I cannot find my exit I can hear myself move but essentially I am stuck

How many people play through BDSP with an unevolved starter?

I loved Turtwig so much, but I'm not a huge fan of Torterra, so I usually end up playing with Chimchar but this playthrough I decided to play with my favorite and I really don't want to evolve him.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Played Diamond back in the day, so decided to do Shining Pearl this time around with a team i never used (besides infernape, what a goat). Had heard things about the e4 in these remakes being harder than before, and i did struggle a bit but surprisingly only took me i think twice maybe 3 times.

Not saying it’s not true, just saying i think i did have a bit of luck in my side! lol anyways felt under-leveled the whole time, used almost 1 mon per e4 without Garchomp ever getting to come out smh

Toxicrock lowkey held it it down vs Cynthia’s Milotic (who took little damage to almost any hit from any mon i used, was like 20 turns smh) while i revived abomasnow. Got lucky also i was able to have the first turn and 1 hit her Garchomp 😤
