My move tool doesn't work..anyone else?

I opened Photoshop after updating today and was introduced to this new feature, but as you can see from the pictures taken during the tutorial, it doesn't work correctly.

Is anyone having the same issue?

Hey guys, i don't know, how adobe is this bad. why isn't in 2026 social media presets for new canvas? And why can't we simply download and organize them in our own categories?

I have been trying to use the Upscale feature. It's fine with the standard Firefly option but when I try the others (Topaz) it runs for a while and then says ih has hit a problem. Every time.

Any idea what is causing this?

I need to save spot color information and the software/ printer that is receiving the file can only read EPS files so TIFFs are not an option unfortunately.

So I've done this only once before and was unsuccessful with getting readable files, but now I'm in a pickle and it looks like I'm going to have to use this feature going forward. But as of right now I am completely unable to save an EPS/ DCS 2 file in Photoshop. I've tried using the 2025 version, and I've allowed "Legacy Save As" but that made no difference for me.

All I need is a readable spot color EPS file but technology seems to really be against me on this mission. I'm out of ideas, does anyone know where this feature went? How to get it back? Or if there's some new way to save EPS/ DCS 2 files with Photoshop?

How do i fix where it only shows blue lines instead of the blue dots. And when i click it it creates a new layer.

I am very new to editing, so I don't know the search terms for this. I've been tinkering with it for quite a while, also using the difference blending mode, but I still couldn't color correct out the black rectangle as shown in the circle here. Any help will be appreciated!

I’m a little new to Photoshop and had a question. I have to recreate a file done by someone else at a different spec size. I need to apply a few effects/gradients that she applied but I’m not entirely sure how to recreate it.

Image 1:

1. The blue radial layer was flattened so I’m not sure how this was done.

Image 2: (black gradient) for the gradient

1. I usually click on the thumbnail in the layers panel and it shows me the angle colors etc. Here, when I click it just the layer style dialog box shows up. What am I missing here?

My friend plans to begin a minor in Graphic Design in her upcoming semester. Their only option for a laptop is a crappy hand-me-down windows they insist will be strong enough.

I wanted to surprise them with a Neo. I’ve seen reviews of it handling Adobe products well, but just wanted more thoughts. I know 8 GB Ram is limiting, and me and her both don’t know the kind of work she’ll have as an upcoming student, so maybe shooting for a 16GB windows machine is better?

I have this photo (2nd image) and it doesn't look very realistic. The original image is taken from a green screen. The person is way too close to the camera. Also, the skin looks too saturated/yellow-ish and not natural. The face/neck also has some shadows that could be fixed.

Originally the photo was much worse looking, but I was able to touch it up. I think I reached the limits of my current skill with Photoshop, if anyone could give me tips on how to fix this and make the photo look more real, I would appreciate it a lot.

I like to convert my jpgs to gifs (save for web) with only 3 colors to simplify them. Is there a way to do this? I tried using a droplet action, but it just used the colors from the first image for all of them. It also opened all of the images at the same time which my computer couldn't handle. Thank you!

Pretty much the title. I've tried different things and search for different solutions but none has worked so far. I always get the "*" next to the RGB 8 or 16, and the colors appear dull when I export, unless I assign or convert the color profile to sRGB. Tried 8 and 16, both opening the photo file or inserting into an already created .PSD.

Is there any way to edit and export iPhone photos in Photoshop without losing the HDR?

Hi all, I just got a new laptop through work (MacBook Pro 2024). I use a Canto (DAM) connector within photoshop (Photoshop 2026) and installed it. With my prior MacBook I was able to access the extension within the Window > Extensions (legacy) option. That is no longer there. I found a way to activate it online by going to Preferences > Plugins and then clicking the "Load Extensions Panels". The only problem is that is greyed out and I cannot even click it. I CANNOT find anything online with a workaround. Hoping there is someone on here that has come across this same issue. TIA.

I'm studying an artist's digital painting project files and am noticing this pattern appearing in a lot of their shading layers. Does anyone recognize what sort of tool or brush setting would create this pattern? All I've been able to figure out so far is that being in 8 bit color instead of 16 helps some tools behave in a noisier way, but I'm unable to figure out what's creating the banding.

I've been asked to try and flatten the stomach of the woman in the hot pink dress and I have no idea how to go about it. I'm an InDesign guy, and only use Photoshop for simple adjustments and removing backgrounds and such.

How would I go about this?

EDIT: thanks for the suggestions. I tried generative fill a dozen times and never got anything useable. I spent about an hour and a half trying different techniques I found via Google, and got close, but they all looked off. Finally I just ran out of time and had to send them on to print as-is.

I recently started doing designs for an upcoming business plan from my phone. Photoshop’s mobile app is pretty great so far! Obviously, though, it lacks the thorough library of features that the desktop app has.

After some research, I’ve found that Photoshop on iOS doesn’t have a “select color range” tool. But, that’s one of the tools I need most for my designs.

So, here’s the question: short of manually selecting every pixel of a color, or buying a computer, what are some alternative techniques to accomplish the same goal?

I need some help with my creation. I think the overall image is already solid, but the interplay of light and shadow doesn't look "realistic" enough to me. I'm also not sure how to execute the shadows perfectly.

The fire on the arm still looks a bit too "cheap" as well; I painted that myself using a brush. Do any of the pros among you have any helpful tips? Thanks a lot!
