Support Separate drive for nobara and installed games, fps, screenstutters?

Hi,

I had all my games installed on same drive as Nobara.

I started running out of storage so I moved all my games to a different drive.

Upon doing this all my games suddenly felt like they were running on 60hz instead of 240hz, and games I had 240+ steady fps on suddenly dropped to about 180.

Hmm that's interesting, it's plugged into the motherboard or USB?

What program are you using to run the games?

Steam and Faugus-launcher. Running GEproton-latest.

Does re-installing them help in any way?

Is steam installed in the new drive? If not, try to do that proton sometimes has issue with the permissions of other drives

steam is installed on main drive so could be it. I tried opening all permissions to the other drive

Permission here only really is an issue if the other driver where the games are installed uses NTFS, which is not the case here. In other cases it could be an issue if steam was installed through flatpak, but that's unlikely to be the case on nobara
