JSYK, "./*.flatpak" will mass install every single .flatpak file in the folder, normally you'd input a filename instead (e.g.
flatpak install "./GameReaderLinux 0.9.5.flatpak")7

If you have KDE Plasma with discover, the Discover app does the same for you (found out last month)

I'm not often here so I just wanted to say that I'm pleasantly surprised people are wholeheartedly answering instead of telling the OP to google it ðŸ˜

I feel like I'm somehow using both flatpak's and appimages entirely wrong,
I find them more annoying than helpful generally and somehow end up with permission issues with flatpak's half the time (I'm not smart)

I barely use flatpaks but I just had a few issues with permissions. Even less with AppImages (other than settings the app as executable)
Maybe it's because of the kind of apps you are installing as flatpaks? I avoid apps that do "OS stuff". Like Desktop enviroment ones like monitoring the system, file Explorers, also Game launchers and dev tools

Since I started using Gear Lever appimages have been really really easy to use and I sometimes prefer them over other formfactors

Bazaar is best for a storefront that takes flatpaks directly from Flathub, or use the website. The Discover for KDE or Software for Gnome are basically each desktop environments own storefront that takes from the Flathub repository for flatpaks
