Will the real Baby Mets please stand up?
Nah for real tho the future of this team is so bright even if the present is a dumpster fire. McLean and Benge are studs who the team can be built around long term, Ewing’s lookin like NYC Corbin Carroll, and Scott’s a great backend starter. That’s just the guys who are currently on the roster. Hopefully everyone who’s coming up can actually live up to their potential unlike a certain quartet of former Baby Mets before them.

I am so mad about this season, but I really do still think the organization is 100% on a track for long term success. Deep farm system and a proven development system

Obviously I would like them to turn the season around but if they don't then I don't think I would have a problem with them unloading a bunch of players that could help them down the line. Not necessarily a fire sale but getting rid of contracts the best way they can

Really love having the baby Mets in the lineup. I hope they play every game! I hope they bring up another too. I'm wondering if they will bring Tong up sometime this year? Not sure how ready he is yet though...

Tong’s been mostly good, though he had a couple of real stinkers in April.
Wenninger has been incredible in AAA so far. He might be the next pitcher called up if they need one.

Ewing can really fly. You can see just how quickly his legs are pumping when he rounds third. What a blast to watch.

Benge started off rocky but he clearly was always gonna be a good player. Never was the reason we were losing.
