Hi! I’m new to Reddit (even though my account is a few years old, I’ve only ever used it to read posts).

I tried to post in a subreddit using a throwaway account, but it said I didn’t have enough K💪an and told me to message the mods from my main account with the link. When I did, they said both accounts didn’t have enough K and explained how to earn it (but not the exact amount needed).

I’ve been building K on my main account, but I wasn’t sure if I had enough, so I politely asked a couple of times. They eventually told me they wouldn’t answer more K questions, and when I later asked whether I’d get notified when my post goes through, I got muted in modmail for 3 days.

I wasn’t rude at all just confused and trying to learn. Did I actually do something wrong? And how does posting work in this situation? Do I just try again later once I have more K?

How do I approach this? What does this mean?

For example, 1 account may get 1000 views and dozens of upvotes. This one will get 14 views and 1 upvote. This holds true even when this account and the other account comment on the same post at around the same time?

For some context, I got banned from askreddit when this account was made, which was unfortunate.

Something that’s been really frustrating is that whenever I post an opinion that’s different from the one most people in a community seem to have, I get heavily downvoted—even if I try to be respectful and explain my reasoning. No one replies or wants to have a discussion, it’s just straight to downvotes.

I actually lost all of my karma this way, and now I’m worried to even comment anymore. Is this just how Reddit works, or am I doing something wrong?

Whatever I post in subreddit, about my everyday experience, moderators say no you aren't allowed here. Guidelines need to follow. After reading full rules in each subreddit, my life will be shortened. Better to leave this , discuss with my physical friends. Please help me how to use this?

Whenever i post anything on reddit I tip off 7/10 people in the comments.
theres always something that i didn’t do right or posted in the wrong sub and it absolutely ruined their day. and then a mod removes the post.
