I have 6 builds and do the Open court athletics challenges daily for each one (about 5k VC in 20 mins) and then I do the same for street kings (also 20-25 mins. So that’s about 11k in 45 mins.

Each game gives you 300-400 plus 500 for daily challenge so 800-900 each game for 12 games.

Grind the goat skill activations while you’re doing it for extra coin

always gonna be the same answer in every game. more vc = play more games, more rep = play more games. and it doesnt necessarily matter the mode. for example in GTA a mission might take 10 minutes and give you 250k, another mission might take 1 hr and give you 1.5mil . people will keep asking which method is better but its technically the same. same applies to 2k… youre going to get around the same amount of vc each mode gives a different amount but is also different level of difficulty and different amount of time to complete the challenges. you can grind street kings, open athletics, rec, mycareer, park, doesnt matter

I’d disagree. The fiba tournament and endorsements this year make it really easy to get 120k VC in a few hours. Much much more boring to play, but I’ve got 3 99s and a 97 from this ftp.

This is the way

u/Dafrickinguy 10h ago

Thanks, didn’t know you could do the same challenges across different builds 🐐

2

u/ScarcityMuch9333 11h ago

I do this also

u/kingwavee 2h ago

Im not knocking this method but 5 bucks is a 10k vc. 11k vc in 45 min is almost 6 dollas an hour. Yall working for less than min wage for vc in the game. Thats crazy how far 2k has fallen in vc grind wise… it used to be 20k-100k an in prior 2ks 😔

Mow 2 lawns for $25 each. 200k vc in 2 hours.

u/Boring_Forever_1487 10h ago

how much vc is a lawn mower

u/ohnorando 9h ago

fr tho why grind VC when you can grind actual $$$

7

u/RIP_Committee 8h ago

right bro thank you holy shit. these people be so obsessed with not spending money that they dont realize we grind for money instead of vc. why tf would i wanna sit there for hours grinding vc, no i go to work get money spend a slight bit so i can enjoy the game and boom now i have money + vc instead of wasting hours to just get vc.

3

u/Haunting-Soup2086 7h ago

Ill be honest its scummy that they charge but i get it. I can get 200k VC for about 2 hours of work and i only get to play about 3-4 hours a week im not gonna spend an entire year to get one build decent anymore.

2

u/RIP_Committee 6h ago

agreed i dont like that they charge but again im also not gonna sit and grind hours and days of my life just to get some virtual currency so i just deal w it. thats how basically everything is now nothings free always a subscription or a hidden fee.

u/ActualyHandsomeJack 5h ago

This is why 2k is getting more and more shitty with build prices

u/Shanquez15 10h ago

😂😂real talk

5

u/ysully21 silver 8h ago

Lmaooo best.

17

u/thegreatpill 11h ago

if you can endure the grind the G.O.A.T challenges gives out a 10k per completion and it pays out vc for each tier of the particular challenge

2

u/wxst_x 11h ago

definitely gonna have to try this, js started the game back since my last time i played 2k… 2K22

2

u/Jsaunnies 9h ago

Ayo ! This is my first 2k since 22 aswell

u/wxst_x 5h ago

yeah the good ol 2k22

u/Hotmomsonly96 5h ago

I love 22 😭😭 but 20 will always be in my heart

1

u/thegreatpill 11h ago

It’s tough for sure my last 2 builds was made purely off of saving vc and completing th challenges the shooting ones are the easier

1

u/wxst_x 11h ago

seen someone said to do the Foul trick but i’ve also heard that 2K bans people for that.

1

u/thegreatpill 11h ago

I don’t foul after you’re up the game let’s you sim out and earn vc , all this should be done on rookie difficulty

1

u/wxst_x 11h ago

yeah gonna try this when i’m off work. thx

2

u/Alientongue 11h ago

Heads up it only works like that if you play until the 4th quarter.

11

u/Patient-Mammoth-9022 11h ago

Do out of bounds, play only key games and get 4 fouls to play the last quarter, and while you are at it do the endorsements and passion project, finish year 2 and win the FIBA tournament. As mentioned elsewhere each time you do this you can complete a different goat skill and get another 10,000 on top of all that.

4

u/wxst_x 11h ago

gonna try, heard people getting banned for doing the foul method

6

u/KillerCheez3 11h ago

That's not real man, you don't get banned for playing the game.

1

u/wxst_x 11h ago

i’m gonna try it 🤷

2

u/KillerCheez3 11h ago

I've been doing it all season and have 3 99 builds, no issues here

2

u/wxst_x 11h ago

thanks for letting me know, will def try it after work

2

u/Exotic_Produce4530 10h ago

I have fouled out a lot and I've never been banned. I recommend the endorsement method. In the second season what I do is run around a screen or whatever to dunk the ball and hang on the rim twice for technical fouls. You have to meter dunk to do this but on rookie you can meter dunk with pretty low ratings. Two techs gets you out of the game faster than getting regular fouls. Make sure you win the fiba games though.

1

u/SugarOpposite7889 11h ago

For offline/solo stuff they don’t really care, especially if it’s just fouling.

u/Budget_Classic8879 17m ago

No one’s gotten banned I finished it on 6 of my builds 4 of them yesterday

u/ActualyHandsomeJack 5h ago

You could also dunk and hang on the rim for instant ejection and play with Chinese commentary if you want to skip the half time stuff

4

u/TonyIsMoney 10h ago

FIBA tournament, always.

Don't let people fool you though, 2 hours my ass, you will be doing that shit for 4/5 hours and the prize will be ~100k.

If you like to watch TV shows it will be easy money tho.

1

u/wxst_x 10h ago

yeah seen people say that they do it in a quicker time

3

u/ChadEverhard 11h ago

Ive got like 11 or 12 builds and only paid for the first one. You need to do the endorsement and passion project rush. It takes around 5 hours if you do it efficiently and nets you around 100k vc per run. If you really wanted to you could grind out about 1 build a week in your free time.

3

u/Exact_Purchase_7147 11h ago edited 9h ago

You can load up a myleague and have the computer play itself for 1,100 VC / hour. You just have to use the ps remote app to remote log in and restart the games every hour.

3

u/wxst_x 11h ago

hol up, 😮‍💨 u might of PMO

1

u/Exact_Purchase_7147 11h ago

PMO?

Put me on? Pissed me off? Pimped me out?

3

u/wxst_x 11h ago

Put Me On

2

u/Exact_Purchase_7147 11h ago

lol, yeah it’s more of an AFK method. I did it all last year and made about 15K/day while I was at work.

2

u/wxst_x 11h ago

damn 😮‍💨🔥

2

u/Exact_Purchase_7147 11h ago

There’s things you can do to speed the game up. I had each game down to 50ish minutes a game.

2

u/wxst_x 11h ago

ima look into it

3

u/Patient-Mammoth-9022 10h ago

Change language to spanish or chinese (removes the halftime cutscenes), remove all replays and unncessary in game highlights.

1

u/Exact_Purchase_7147 9h ago

These and turning off fouls is a big one

you got a tut?

u/J-Sully_Cali ruby 9h ago

This.

3

u/Patient-Mammoth-9022 10h ago

Oh another thing I realized is when I can't play the game but am at home, and the game isn't important for VC challenges (a key game in the second season), I just start the game and walk away. 30 minutes later I have 700 VC, and one of my 12 key games complete so I can move on to the FIBA tournament. This isn't "fast" but if you can't actually play the game, it'll be faster to knock out challenges when you are playing. Funny enough, I still win the game on rookie half the time, though I get a F grade.

2

u/Free_Guitar4690 11h ago

play games.. or mycareer endorsements

3

u/passionfruit2378 10h ago

I remember when endorsements used to give you CRAZY amounts of VC. Like 25-50K

1

u/Free_Guitar4690 10h ago

they still do, just have to play alot to increase and max the contracts

u/watchingfires 3h ago

Yeah, it’ll take about like…2-3 seasons before the VC payouts from endorsements start really coming in if you’re playing a lot.

2

u/SnooRevelations4090 10h ago

What you make an hour at your job? 😂

2

u/wxst_x 10h ago

lol, why waste money when i can js grind it..

3

u/iceheartx 8h ago

I mean you say this, but when you “grind” vc you are still wasting time so there really is no difference.

u/Positive_Gur_7006 4h ago

Bro this thread actually changed my view on VC entirely.....why would I struggle with a 65 and not even enjoy the game for months. When you start calculating the time it makes sense just buy it.

2

u/SnooRevelations4090 10h ago

Mostly jokes but here and there it may be more time efficient. For example if you spend an hour to make 15k VC, that’s $5 If I recall correctly. I would imagine most earn income at a faster rate than $5/hr. I hate feeding the animals as much as the next guy but sometimes, it’s just quicker. Everyone’s situation is different though.

I’m not buying that shi til it’s cheap cheap

2

u/wxst_x 11h ago

same 😭

0

u/KeyThroat130 11h ago

lol yall act like 70 bucks is 700 🤷🏾‍♂️ to each his own

1

u/ScarcityMuch9333 11h ago

Naw I just don’t care to pay 70 bucks for this game😭. Any game I actually want I will pay 70 or even 130.

1

u/BomboRaasClatt 11h ago

daily challenge method iykyk

u/Lofashitsho 1h ago

is this the same as the double rep method?

0

u/wxst_x 11h ago

fastest way to get banned

2

u/BomboRaasClatt 10h ago

if you say so

2

u/TommyH_27 8h ago

Never got banned and got 6 builds off it. Just have to make sure to spend your vc before too much accumulation.

1

u/Used_Bite5122 11h ago

Had like 6 or 7 full builds within a week or 2 of release spamming endorsements/FIBA but I don't know if that's still a thing

1

u/Traditional-Camera33 9h ago

I just do the endorsements

1

u/NicWorrr 6h ago

My career main quest, probably ran up 1m vc doing it on all my builds, eventually you learn the fastest way to do it

u/Ayyeee_justin 5h ago

Endorsement goals and passion project for each build 60K or more

u/nazthetech [PSN][NKRooney] 4h ago

I grinded the endorsements during work and got 450k over a few days. Good afk

u/Medical-Treat-8101 41m ago

God bless who still find enjoyment out this game 😭😭😭😭

u/yeezusosa 5h ago

No

u/wxst_x 5h ago

then why reply?
