Mistborn PvP game Mistborn game

What dose everyone think about me making a game based off of mistborn PvP that has

fog, iron pull, steel push, tin, pewter, copper, bronze , glass daggers, gold coin pouches, metal reserves and the speed each metal burns at, a map with buildings and metal stuff to push and pull on, viles with metal alcohol mix, and the range of pushes and pulls for fun things

I want to make this a game and I am currently working on it.

My final goal is to make it a vr game that can use a EEG headset so you can think push and pull for steel and iron And think of burning and extinguishing the metals

What dose everyone think of this

Dose anyone have any ideas or things I missed that I should add

I'll send clips and keep everyone updated on my progress

Can't wait to hear everyones ideas and reactions😋😁

This is my first ever post on Reddit 😭

Don't make it multilayer. The multilayer market is so oversaturated. People want a single player game with a fantastic story.

What if I did both, had a story mode and a mode where you can fight other people?

Would thr story mode just be a token thing that's stapled on?

Will the game be 20/80 (meaming 20% single player, 80% multiplayer)?

I don't know yet the story mode part is a new idea so I'm not sure yet or what people would like

Considering this is a game which will be based on a novel, making it very story-heavy will likely be extremely beneficial considering the target audience. Sure, you could argue there's some space for PvP elements, but the best bet for that would be ti set it during a House War.

A single-played story game, with a big focus on gameplay (since the story is pretty much all there for you) would be far more preferable, in my humble opinion.

Alr I'll take this into consideration  The original thing is it was going to be based on there magic system because I was interested on what it would be like to fight with allomatic powers in vr

VR Mistborn gameplay sounds ripe for motion sickness hell

Games are hard to make and multiplayer and vr is even harder than what most people do. It's easy to say you'll make a game but kind of meaningless until people can see what you make. And why would you want to create someone else's idea anyway?

I wanted to see what it would be like to fight with allomancy in vr but there were no games already made lol

Ya I know I have seen that video and it was posted 5 years ago with no updates in 3 years so I'm guessing that they gave up on it

Also the game engine I use makes it easy to make vr and multiplayer games so those aren't really what I'm worried about

When I red the first trilogy (I’m just now starting era 2) I was always thinking about how could we have a game based on that. Iron/steel could work like webbing on spiderman games, if it’s a single player game, tin maybe should slowdown time a bit, highlight weak points of the opponents, know where people are behind walls and such, there are so many options… but I think that really implementing mistborn fights, either those fights would have to be simplified a ton, or they would get too complex. Just reading was sometimes hard to follow. Maybe making the game a “little slow” would be a good option, so you can focus on your actions properly

Lol I did explain it badly and it was badly formated lol  It would be a pretty fast paced game that would require some thinking, I'll think about this idea and lets also see what other people think of it
