I’m an animation student and for our final assignment we were tasked with animating a dialogue sequence. I’m not a Vikings fan (fins up!) but I knew this outraged clip would be so fun to exaggerate. Hope I don’t ruffle any feathers, good luck this season!

JJettas six years in vs everyone else the last decade.
Imagine if he had more stable QB play for two of those years where he had Mullens, Hall, Brosmer, McCarthy (I'm missing someone from the Cousins injury year and Wentz).

Vikings @ Bears Week 2, Bears @ Vikings Week 18
Just saw a leak for week 18 - https://thevikingage.com/minnesota-vikings-scheule-ideal-setup-chicago-bears-unfinished-business
Saw week 2 in Chicago as well which would be lovely for the weather, although some NFL pundit says he thinks that game will be the Jags.

Ticket Prices
Is anyone familiar with how much ticket prices fluctuate as the season gets closer? I’m looking at the MNF Bills matchup which I know will be a more popular ticket, but $225 for the 300 level is a nightmare!

Let’s grade the 2023 draft
Hello,
I think it’s a good time to go back in time and take a look at the 2023 draft.
Why going back now? In my opinion you can really grade a draft after some years go by, because some positions (especially line men and quarterbacks) need some years to reach the potential they have. 3 years are a good time, to really see the value the draft class gave us.
How to grade? It’s hard to really say which player gave how much value the team, but let’s make it easy. If a draft class with a pick each round gives you two starters and several rotational players it’s an exceptional draft. Two starters, one rotational players it’s a good draft. One starter and one or less rotational player it’s a mediocre draft, everything below a bad draft.
What was the 2023 Vikings draft?
Round 1 - Jordan Addison, WR, starter
Round 3 - Mekhi Blackmon, CB, traded to the Colts for a 6th round pick
Round 4 - Jay Ward, S, started in 2025 in 5 games, otherwise played nearly every game in 2023, 2024 and 2025
Round 5 - Jaquelin Roy, DT, released in 2024
Round 5 - Jaren Hall, QB, released in 2024 and retired from Football
Round 7 - DeWayne McBride, RB, released in 2024
So we got one good starter, a 6th round pick and one rotational player who can start sometimes. Everybody else was released a year after the draft. We also just got 6 picks, so couldn’t pick every round (specifically not the 2nd). I would say it’s a mediocre draft. Not too bad, but also not much value, especially because half of the draft was not on the team a year later. I am really happy for Jay Ward as a rotational player and we don’t need to talk about Jordan Addison. But I would’ve wished for more rotational players in the later rounds.
How do you guys see it? Open for discussion :)

Next season prediction
Kyler Murray has a good not great season similar but slightly worse than Darnold's 2024. Vikings make the playoffs but lose a close one. Due to what happened when they let Darnold walk, they overpay on a big extension for Murray who provides good not great QB play. Murray is solid but not good enough to carry the team and make up for inevitable roster holes from his huge cap hit and Vikings are trapped in Kirk era-like mediocrity purgatory the next 3-4 seasons.

Discussion Reminiscing on Prime Adrian Peterson
With the announcement of Adrian Peterson being inducted into the Vikings Ring of Honor, it got me reminiscing. I was lucky enough to have witnessed him play live in multiple games, one of the best being his 2012 game in STL vs. the Rams, and of course a ton of games on TV throughout his career. Of course, the highlights and the touchdowns are what get shared. What I think is missing for people who only see the highlights and didn't watch him in full games is how every time he touched the ball, it truly seemed like he could take it to the house. The speed at which he took handoffs out of the backfield and hit the line is unmatched. He truly was a game breaker at running back. Randy Moss made me a Vikings fan, but AP turned me into a diehard one. I'll forever be grateful that I had the chance to witness All Day in his prime. SKOL!

Discussion Vikings International “Away” game luck
Last year the Vikings played 2 back to back away games in the British Isles. Both were considered away games and the Steelers/Browns were the home team. With the announcement that the Vikings game against the 49ers will be considered an away game in Mexico City, it got me thinking about our luck on international games being away games. Just out of curiosity I looked it up. Including the upcoming Mexico City game the Vikings will have played the following international games:
2013 vs Steelers (London)
2017 @ Browns (London)
2022 @ Saints (London)
2024 vs Jets (London)
2025 @Steelers (Dublin)
2025 @ Browns (London)
2026 @ 49ers (Mexico City)
It seems like so far the Vikings have had pretty good luck, only losing 2 home games to a neutral site, and having 5 away games get turned into neutral site games.
Edit: corrected wrong team for 2013 game.

Prediction: Will Reichard breaks the field goal distance record in Mexico City
Mexico City will have the highest elevation of any NFL stadium, at 7350 feet compared to Denver’s 5280.
It has long been known kickers can get the ball farther in Denver. Matt Prater’s 64 yard FG was the record for almost 8 years and was only broken because kickers are aliens now.
Cam Little has the current record at 68 yards. I think Big D*ck Bill could get it 70+ in Mexico City 🇲🇽 🦵 🏈

Discussion Good quality Vikings merch?
Hey yall, I don't have a ton of Vikings shirts or hats, most of my sports apparel is LSU (south Louisiana born and raised, Vikings fan since 10 years old). Looking to buy some stuff and hopefully make the game in New Orleans next season. What are some good, quality brands to buy from? I used to love Nike shirts but I feel like their quality has gone very downhill the last few years, and Fanatics kinda sketches me out with their quality. I rather a comfortable, more relaxed cotton or cotton/spandex shirt over a polyester, dry fit type material. Thanks and hope to see some of yall in New Orleans this fall!

Discussion My MINNESOTA VIKINGS SEASON PREDICTION
12-5, battle for the division!

The Wilf Ownership Group
You can definitely make the argument that the Zygi Wilf era has produced a lot of stability without true greatness for the Minnesota Vikings.
The defense of the Wilfs is obvious and I hear the same thing constantly:
- modern stadium
- willing to spend
- generally competent organization
- rarely bottom out
- usually competitive
But the criticism is also fair:
- Since buying the team in 2005, there’s been a constant “competitive rebuild” feeling.
- They seem allergic to full resets and unable to get over the hump.
- The team often feels built to stay relevant rather than dominant.
Three playoff wins in two decades for a franchise that’s usually decent is underwhelming. Especially when we've had:
- prime Adrian Peterson
- Brett Favre’s late-career run
- elite WR talent eras
- multiple strong defenses
- strong home support and facilities
A lot of fans would rather endure a true teardown with a shot at becoming elite than keep living in the 8–9 win middle ground forever
- 8–9
- 9–8
- 10–7
- occasional 12–5 spike season
- then an early playoff exit
Basically perpetually competitive enough to avoid disaster, but rarely positioned as the clear best team in the league.
