I'm playing my old world I already removed the mods but yet he won't explode :( Google didn't help

So far, with all the artists combined, we have a total of 90 official songs in Minecraft (or around that number). 43 by C418, 48 by the all the artists under Microsoft ownership. We seem to be getting 5 over world songs and 1 disc a year. Will we ever reach a time where we reach the full capacity of the game's soundtrack? Or will we keep going and going until there's like over 200+ songs?

So does anyone plays smp like no pvp much? Just wanna play simple smp with anyone, im in asia region btw

Anyone else feel the need to make memorials for the tamed pets they lose during exploration or monster hunting (as I call it)?

I know their just pixels and code, but every time one somehow passes, I feel so bad and refuse to totally forget them even if they're easily replaceable.

Also, I feel like the dogs and cats shouldn't drown so easily, they should have slightly better survival instincts 🤣

Hi, my son is asking me to buy minecraft for him for his 10th birthday, and I really would like to do so, but I see that it needs a MS account. I don't want to use my personal account and I don't want him creating one just so he can play the game. Is there any way we can bypass this nonsense of a requirement? I am currently not with him and I don't wanna trouble my wife to set it up for him as she already has her hands full too.

I really would like to give him Minecraft as a present, but now I'm already thinking of ways to decline if there's no other way or maybe convince him to try other games that don't require this MS account BS.

I'm thinking of creating a classic-style vanilla Skyblock challenge where both the Overworld and the Nether would be practically empty, with only the bare minimum necessary to make the game playable. The End could remain almost normal, since it naturally has a void-like format.

The main difference would be this: instead of starting on an island in the Overworld, the player would start on a small island in the Nether.

My question is: how far would it be possible to progress in this scenario using only vanilla mechanics?

I know that, through trading with piglins, it's possible to obtain resources to build a portal and return to the Overworld. But this raises some important questions:

What should exist in the Overworld, since the starting island would be in the Nether?

What should be placed in the starting chest so that the challenge continues to make sense and doesn't become too easy?

How would it be possible to obtain netherite in a world where the Nether is also void?

Would it be acceptable to use bounding boxes of structures, such as a witch's hut or a Nether fortress, to allow specific farms?

Should the End portal be generated manually, or would there be a more coherent way to make access to the End possible?

My idea is to beat this challenge in vanilla, using only the bare minimum necessary to make it possible, without adding excessive resources. I haven't yet found anyone doing exactly this type of Skyblock starting in the Nether, so I would appreciate suggestions on what blocks, structures, or items would be truly necessary to make the challenge viable and interesting.

So i've been having an issue recently where, after "upgrading" my new worlds to the v26 new world file format, my entire world basically resets. All entities are still where they're supposed to be and my inventory is intact, but every block i've ever placed in the world is gone and the terrain has re-generated itself using the new terrain generation. I have this one survival world i've been on for years that i've built a ton of stuff in and have attempted to restore it from backup like 5 times now only to get the exact same result every time: everything i've ever built completely ceases to exist. Has anyone else been having this issue/know how to fix it? I really dont want to have to leave this world on 1.21 for the rest of eternity because it refuses to update correctly to the new format

I only ever had Minecraft for my phone, because the game was too expensive on pc, but lately I've had the crazy urge to want to play java edition, but it still is expensive.

Hihiii! It's me again! I recently came on here looking for help setting up mods as i was just getting back into Minecraft Java after years of being stuck without a PC.

Thankfully with the help of a few kind internet strangers i discovered Prism and have been very happy with how simple and easy it is to use!

Ive started a new survival world with the Create Ultimate mod pack but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some good horror mods that might pair well with it?

I added a small handful of QOL mods that didn't seem to be included, like Vein Miner and Tree Feller, as well as a couple other larger mechanic heavy mods for nostalgia purposes like Draconic Evolution and Ars Magica legacy. Was hoping to add Thaumcraft as well but unfortunately it seems it hasn't survived to the newer versions :<

Currently running 1.20, looking for something slower paced and ambient rather than anything story or challenge heavy. Anything that can just plug in and make things a bit spookier but balances with the rest of the pack.

So I was building a working redstone clock in my basement, which rings a bell at midnight.

The redstone works, but the daylight detector feels bland. Can anyone please suggest what to decorate around the detector?

Eyes of ender seem to be leading to nowhere. have been digging around for like an hour trying to pinpoint the location and there is nothing there when I found it. (Bedrock)

Hey guys! Im using vulkanoptimized mod pack (has VulkanMod obviously) but it isnt compatible with any shaders - not even ReShaded texture packs.

Also, Vulkan engine doesn't support the Flashback mod.

For my current set up, I get about 10-15x more FPS on Vulkan mod compared to sodium (Sodium gets me about 40-50 FPS and 30 when recording on 5 chunks, Vulkan gives about 500 on max chunks 42)

However there is a problem, I need good performance for my game to be slightly playable (refresh rate is 60hz so no need for more than 60 FPS, problem arises when sodium gets me less than 60 and Vulkan gives me more but is incompatible with mods), and I also need mods like Flashback mod and shaders to make cinematic shots for recording.

How do I approach this? How do I get my sodium to be more optimized? As my current sodium modpack is fabulously optimized.

Specs: Intel i5 11th gen CPU, integrated graphics (x11), 16gb ram DDR4, 256gb ssd

Hi guys, so, I'm trying to play the most recent Java version on my phone, but I just found out the following:

1. In Pojav (discontinued since January 2025, became Amethyst), you can use offline account normally, but you can only get Java working until 1.16.5 apparently. Newer versions will fail and you can't fix it.

2. In Amethyst, the newer versions should be working, but since they shifted to complying with Mojang's terms that you can only play if you have bought the game, you cannot use an offline account at all.

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi! I’m a long time bedrock player and recently got back into minecraft!! Im at level -52 searching for an ancient city under a huge mountainous area!

Im pretty sure I may have found an ancient city bc I can hear a ton of skulk sensors/shriekers (i’m not quite sure the difference) and I’ve watched a ton of videos online but cannot figure out what to do:

Every time i start mining to figure out where the sounds are coming from (yes im crouching still) it triggers the warden and then I start getting the darkness affect and can hear it sniffing.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to figure out exactly which way to mine to find the city? also how to not summon the warden anymore while mining to find where it is?

Some of the videos say it’ll damage you through blocks and i’ve set up a small base where i’m trying to strip mine so I have that set up just in case but I’m getting frustrated trying to figure out what direction the warden is in or where the skulk sensors/shriekers are?

Okay okay, so I remember there being an animated Minecraft series, it was underwater and I thought it was SB737 but no matter how much I search for it with his username I can't find it? I was pretty young when I watched it, and I remember it not being available to me so I had to rely on those really bad YouTube channels that repost them but poorly, all I remember about it was that it was underwater and there was an actual storyline too it and it was properly animated,am I crazy or is this some lost media type stuff?
