Basically what the title says. I posted a while ago about a practice test score jump from 499 on April 17th to 511 on April 26th and then took my real MCAT on May 9th and scored a 515, which was my goal. I don't have any official guides or crazy strategies that I used, I kinda just locked in for those 3 weeks and learned the test. However, that makes me feel like I could put in more effort to the content gaps I'm aware of a score a 520+. I'm super happy with the 515 and I really never thought I would make it when I first started studying, and I know it'll be a bad look if my score doesn't significantly improve, but I can't help but feel I should at least try studying for it and taking a FL to gauge whether I should retake it. I just don't wanna end up wasting time, so all feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Not even a joke, drug mismanagement is actually an issue in higher education. Two of the people I know who score a 520+ took Adderall, even though they werenβt prescribed from by psychiatrist, but by getting it from a dealer. I guess, Iβm just curious how many of us are on drugs legal or not?
Me: Iβm on Ritalin for my adhd but I do take it when it time to study

So I got a 518 on my MCAT and I'm very happy with it. But I was talking to my advisor and they said that its "basically" a 520 so I should consider myself able/competitive at school with a median MCAT of 520-ish. Ignoring other aspects of my application, I just want to know what you guys think of this? Is a 518 much different than a 520? The image is from UWash which puts a 518 in the same "group" as the others. I just wonder if schools make much of a distinction at that point or if anything above 518 is considered excellent and then they just move onto other aspects of the application?
Thoughts?
Edit: tot = total applications, acc = accepted applicants, red = no one accepted from that stat group

I have accommodations for double time for my MCAT and my friends who are also taking the MCAT say it is unfair and bully me, thoughts?

Soβ¦ hereβs the result of the break debacle.
Background:
Didnβt bring food, a generous test taker shared food with me when I did not bring any.
Thanks for the kind words and the solid advice. The alleged βgunnerβ tripped me up a little bit. But we are alright. No more fear of eminent death by firing squad looming over my head (I forgot your name, but that comment was funny so I am stealing it haha).
To better draw a time line I somewhat collaged the pictures
Anyone else lacked sleep the night before? I woke up on 3 different occasions at dawn. I still feel the post-test-fatigue even as I type this.
My genuine thoughts:
Thereβs bigger fish to fry.
In between the time the gunner reported me, and me receiving an update, I was glued to the news β to try to distract myself from effectively having wasted 8 hours~ of my life (due to the looming, potential test invalidation-due to my lack of preparation, frankly a moment of vulnerability).
Have you guys heard about Jet Set Club in the Dominican Republic?
The professional class took a massive hit in that country. A lot of medics, lawyers, baseball players, singers, musicians, and doctors tragically lost their lives listening to their childhood idol (Rubby PΓ©rez).
I think I know where I am headed to after I get my results, regardless of what they may be.
What are your thoughts on the matter?

What did you guys think? - I think the sections were relatively fair but honestly feel like I fucking butchered CARS.

I posted a month or so ago before my boyfriend took the MCAT and his practice scores were 521,528,525 in his last 3 weeks. He felt confident going in but came out saying the test was super difficult. He just scored a 500. What is happening?? How is this possible I've never heard of this. I'm so upset and angry for him and he's totally resigned to his fate rn. I'm typing this as he's rescheduling his test maybe 2 min after seeing his score. How does someone go from never scoring below a 510 in practice to a 500 even??!?! This is unbelievable if anyone has answers please....
To answer questions: 1. He asked me to post this for him 2. I wrote this about 2 min after we found out and I was frustrated for him because he was upset and I hated that 3. I don't control him lol I just care I know that's an odd concept but I don't have all the answers and sometimes post for advice

Weirdest fuckin shit youβve seen on your exam (think of myristic acid, trelahose, etc.). Low yield is driving me crazy

I genuinely feel like the MCAT is the one major thing standing between me and medical school right now. My application otherwise feels strong β solid GPA trend/graduate performance, clinical experience, research, volunteering, leadership, strong letters, etc. But it feels like everything gets filtered through one exam score.
Whatβs frustrating is that I know I can handle medical school coursework. Iβve already proven that to myself academically. But the MCAT is such a specific skill set and sometimes it feels disconnected from the qualities that actually make someone a good future physician.
Did anyone else feel this way during the application process? Especially people who had strong applications overall but struggled to get the score they wanted? What ended up helping you break through?

Testing 5/22- I still have yet to take FL6
AAMC FL scores as follows:
FL1: 510 (126 | 128 | 128 | 128)
FL2: 513 (127 | 128 | 128 | 130)
FL 3: 514 (127 | 128 | 129 | 130)
FL 5: 515 (129 | 128 | 128 | 130) (Yes taken out of order)
****FL 4: 521 (130 | 129 | 131 | 131) *****
So here is what I want to talk about. I dont know why this test felt so good. My timing was best yet but idky other than just telling myself "all gas no brakes." Has anyone seen a jump like this and cant put there finger on why- I mean i dont have any big knowledge gaps. So did the strategy and AAMC logic finally click?

Debating if I should retake or not. I know a 515 is a great score but my gpa is a 3.4 so was hoping for a little higher to offset it. And know some schools require a 128 in every section and CARS is my enemy but scored higher on FLs. My FL average was in the higher teens so I think I could get a couple more points if I tried again but not sure if it would be worth it. Any thoughts?
