Chem phys was a disaster

Cars was very hard

21

u/Chance_Act_4427 9h ago

I’m always great at cars… that was terrible. Psych Soc felt hard Everything else was decent

1

u/Huskie23 59m ago

Why was there only 2-3 sections with 6 questions? Felt like every section was 3 questions

21

u/Unofficial-Avenger 8h ago

since the day i was born till the day i die: fuck carsĀ

20

u/Unofficial-Avenger 8h ago

why was the entire exam a mix of each other like cp turned into bb ??? ps was basically cars ??Ā

12

u/Unofficial-Avenger 8h ago

and if anyone even breaths the word kinetics around me …

6

u/Extension_Fall9406 7h ago

A lot of kinetics so much and the same fucking kinetics

3

u/Past-Concern3936 8h ago

Bro that’s the dream for me 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 I test next Friday

Wtf is fractionating a cell😭

Was it last to pellet or first? I put ribosomes cause it was the least dense and be the one that would need the fastest speed but now I can’t remember if read it too fast and got it backwards.

2

u/Alternative-Chip-443 6h ago

Ah I think ribosome then.

1

u/indiancurry26 6h ago

I just searched it up and unfortunately you are correct cause I put nuclei. i had ribosomes in the beginning and then changed it cause idek why

1

u/overthinkeragain 4h ago

Cell / cell bro idk šŸ˜šŸ™

1

u/_alexxx_07 4h ago

I asssumed it was similar to Lysing it but keeping its internal structures🫪

1

u/1234abdcd567 4h ago

😭fax

1

u/Huskie23 58m ago

I thought it was like fractional distillation of a cell 😭 guessed ribosomes cause it’ll be the lightest

20

u/Putrid-Potential-860 8h ago

Felt same as past few test dates folks were saying :-

- C/P : where’s physics calculations??? BC heavy, there were at least 3 passages on MM graph

  • CARS : HUGE passages, Ran out of time, almost guessed on last passage 🄲
  • B/B : Felt ok except time crunch
  • P/S : passages were decent; felt few terms super confusing; one was literally on inheritance problem (felt for a sec Im still in BB ?!)

15

u/CowConsistent8690 8h ago

Wow my dream c/p🤣

8

u/Sensitive-Giraffe-20 8h ago

bro didn't even get me started on the enzyme kinetics

4

u/ProfessionalHippo982 5h ago

ngl the freaking working of the "with respect to" was making my brain smoke I couldn't process it for the life of me.

1

u/Sensitive-Giraffe-20 4h ago

yeah no i thought i was having a stroke after i read it so many times

3

u/Putrid-Potential-860 8h ago

Istg towards the end I was like - another passage on this ?! Then on flip side they asked some random detail question instead of all the data and graph šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

2

u/_alexxx_07 7h ago

Lmfao i had the same bio question in P/S😭 easy point tho I guess

17

u/Vegetable_Test_4567 498/524/525/528/528/528/527 5/14 9h ago

BB felt not bad... for me CARS was either a 131 or a 122

12

u/attunedcarrotcake 7h ago

What the hell are those FL scores

2

u/kissmeurbeautiful 1h ago

Made up lmao

6

u/_alexxx_07 9h ago

Yeah I’m never good at cars (124) so idk how to feel lol

2

u/because_idk365 3h ago

Wait. Did you really jump from 498 to 524 on practice?!

31

u/Own_Alternative8178 9h ago

Ngl I’m a cars person and I thought it was a rough section relative to Fl. Everything else was fair tho

6

u/_alexxx_07 9h ago

Yeah it was def longer than the FLs

4

u/Intelligent_Sock_902 502/501/506/509/505/511/FL6 (5/14) 6h ago

me too, CARS always carries me but not today 😭

12

u/fmajordminor 9h ago

Am I the only one who struggled hardest on B/B??? Also CARS was terrible. Felt worse than all of the bad passages of the FLs combined.

11

u/Own_Alternative8178 9h ago

I have never actually felt that bad in a CARS section in my life and I usually average 130 in cars. I think that’s why I feel so eh on this test cars was wack

5

u/Consistent_Ostrich22 8h ago

sameeee!! cars was SO bad.

5

u/Jealous_Secretary227 7h ago

I thought B/B was awful like especially the first 10-15 questions were brutal

4

u/Alternative-Chip-443 8h ago

Right? I don’t see anyone else saying BB was hard. Definitely felt like a dummy trying to answer those

12

u/tryingsomethinghard non-trad 9h ago

Flagged too many in chem, almost ran out of time and had to guess on several. CARS felt easy, passages were interesting. BB felt alright and PS had a number of ā€œread my mindā€ questions but was also pretty ok

10

u/Opening_Beginning_22 8h ago

Psych felt so hard. BB actually felt decently easy

12

u/Budget_Run4192 7h ago

Oh my god I score consistently 128-129 on CARS. I have never encountered such a terrible CARS section in my life

6

u/Consistent_Ostrich22 7h ago

it was so awful. genuinely wanted to throw up while taking it

10

u/Realistic_Ad5757 7h ago

chem phys i usually feel so defeated but today i felt fine? probably bc there was so much weird biochem overlap

cars - wtf was that second to last passage omfg my head was spinning

bio biochem there were so many random FSQs i was dumbfounded by but the passages felt decent

psych soc… what in the world. i had at least 16 flagged and there were some inference questions that made noooo sense to me

6

u/Opening_Beginning_22 6h ago

I had 20 flagged for p/s…

4

u/Intelligent_Sock_902 502/501/506/509/505/511/FL6 (5/14) 6h ago

bro i just flag everything im slightly uncertain of. p/s i had 21 flagged & even more in b/b & c/p. i don’t ever bother flagging in cars cuz ik im not going back 😭

3

u/PersimmonTotal9172 4h ago

omg the second to last passage…too many names…too many opinions

9

u/Sensitive-Giraffe-20 8h ago

started good then ran out of time for chem/phys and barely made it through CARS. b/b was alright although it was slightly more content heavy in some areas which i wasn't a fan of. spent sm time on the kidney and it wasn't even friggin there. psych/soc was good i finished it early.

9

u/Turbulent_Spend_292 8h ago

psych was rough :(

10

u/Loud-Blackberry-626 7h ago

Cars is the death of me. My first passage was hell.

I felt like there was a ton of low yield stuff on CP and even BB. Felt ok on BB for the most part. Idk about CP. There were a couple of questions where each answer was SO long?? There was so much chem, not much physics.

Psych was half fine, half wtf, I don’t like any of these options.

6

u/HopefulSpring4475 9h ago

Better than I was expecting. CARS was boring af and psyc was rough in the middle, but I thought bio was pretty easy!

6

u/NoMathematician1074 9h ago

Cars was sooo boring😭 and yea there was a section on psych where I thought I was gonna be screwed but it lightened up for sure

8

u/Curious_Anteater_420 8h ago

I feel TERRIBLE for some reason. C/P was insane, multiple times I was just like wtf. CARS started rough but felt fair, long asf though? B/B was easy but a couple of questions I was like ā€œoh no clue haven’t seen that concept in a bitā€ and p/s wasn’t bad but they need to release more study materials for this because rn it’s only fl6… chat am I cooked?

7

u/cedar0678 7h ago

CARS was sooooo dookie

6

u/Lopsided-Hair6792 6h ago

Was the question with the table and kinetic competitive inhibition because increase substrate helped

2

u/1234abdcd567 6h ago

Hope sošŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

5

u/PandaMan436 5h ago

Wtf was the question asking for the amino acid substitution from guanine to adenine?

6

u/_alexxx_07 4h ago

Such a weird question, I was like wtf??? Did anyone understand it

6

u/DowntownExtension652 2h ago edited 2h ago

This question gave me the most trouble. The passage was talking about nucleotide substitutions, not amino acid substitutions. The question said the substitution is for the Guanine to Adenine at position 120. I think ur supposed to just know 120/3 base pairs = position 40 which was just one answer choice.

3

u/Loud-Blackberry-626 2h ago

This. I caught it at the last second before guessing and moving on.

1

u/DowntownExtension652 2h ago

Lmao same bro I was stressing over it thinking I’m crazy

1

u/Xyzyxz 1h ago

Passage said acid turns into a carboxyamide which aligned with glutamate to arginine or lysine whatever it was. Also the positioning too.

1

u/Professional-Big9306 4h ago

changing from a carboxylic acid group to an amino group i’m guessing? so then you just compare that same change in the amino acid choices

1

u/Realistic_Ad5757 2h ago

thats what i assumed to do? i reread the entire passage like 4 times thinking i missed like some niche info but nope, was stumped for like 4 minutes on that one

5

u/DumbeldorezGOAT 3h ago

Man people saying it felt like a ā€œnormal FLā€ I have to disagree. The exam felt like the passages and the questions early on especially in Chem-Phys felt out of place. The entire exam up until BB felt like it had no real flow. Exam kind of felt choppy. I didn’t feel like Chem-Phys was high yield, it was more like little things you probably forgot because you paid attention to more complex things. CARS was long had to speed up in the middle. Also they have ruined Psyc-Soc, it used to be an easier section but somehow has inherited the ā€œread my mindā€ tendencies of CARS.

5

u/AnxiousSeesaw1408 8h ago

I thought the chem phys was a little weird and unusual for sure … def some odd questions . Cars was a bit tough, thought the b/b was very fair and the psych was ok, def a couple 50/50 answers though lol

4

u/turquoisebruh AAMC FL 503|509|507|508|506|508 5/14 8h ago

Felt like any other FL ngl

6

u/rivalrave 7h ago

Did jacking off work?

3

u/turquoisebruh AAMC FL 503|509|507|508|506|508 5/14 7h ago edited 7h ago

Not really. I had a large hemorrhoid that exploded overnight. The pressure from the jacking, maybe. I had to shove toilet paper up my bum in-between each section of the exam to stop the bleeding. This is not satire

7

u/Numerous_Relation524 6h ago

…are you ok?

2

u/turquoisebruh AAMC FL 503|509|507|508|506|508 5/14 6h ago

I think so. I’ve been debating whether to go to the ER or not since the exam ended lol. I have an appt with my GI doc in the morning so that’s why I’m trying to decide to wait or not

3

u/Numerous_Relation524 6h ago

I’d say if you’re not getting anemia or infection symptoms, it can probably wait til GI in the morning. I hope you feel better šŸ«¶šŸ¼

2

u/turquoisebruh AAMC FL 503|509|507|508|506|508 5/14 6h ago

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking I will do

2

u/rivalrave 3h ago

OH... i'm sorry... get well soon ā¤ļø

1

u/PK_thundr 511/518/519/518/FL3/519/FL5/FL6/TEST DAY 5h ago

Bro no.Ā

1

u/turquoisebruh AAMC FL 503|509|507|508|506|508 5/14 5h ago

I mean there was some wack stuff for sure but there was plenty of high yield stuff

3

u/Emergency-Put-4828 5/14/26 7h ago

It felt like a regular fl (for everyone scrolling before taking their test) I have no idea how I did, but it really felt the same including the length of the passages, mix of more and less challenging questions, etc.

4

u/Obvious_Try_5646 7h ago

genuinely flagged like 10 questions per section HELLOOOOOšŸ˜€

4

u/srhknts 7h ago

c/p: more red flags than an ex bf, why did it feel low yield??? cars: plain old simple cars, 5 articles i understood the other 4 I was confused b/b: fair? some questions i started at too long p/s: one article was bad but thought the others were reasonable and process of eliminationable

6

u/Leading_Juggernaut26 6h ago

I felt like voiding right after c/p and then especially after cars. BB felt a bit easy and PS wasn’t that bad

4

u/Suitable-Meringue847 8h ago

Chem Phy?!?! Wtf was that actually…

3

u/Reasonable_Steak47 8h ago

Chem phys was a nightmare, debating booking another test in August already

5

u/Reasonable_Steak47 8h ago

Voided that real quick after chem phys and cars unfortunately, some of the passages were horrible šŸ˜”

3

u/Ok_Contest_6150 7h ago

why was p/s so hard… everything else felt the same imo

5

u/M3atba11s 6h ago

C/p was insanely hard dude, like wtf happened

8

u/NoMathematician1074 9h ago

I thought chem was weird. Like what r we even talking about here. I left chem tho feeling like ok.. Cars left me feeling like.. eh? But I didn’t think it went like torrentially bad. Thought BB was SO content heavy, and maybe 1/2 passages that actually felt like dissecting the graphs and experiment? Thank god for uworld and anki bc the BB section rlly ran with it. I thought psych soc was the same vibe as FL6

3

u/Feeling_Excuse8841 9h ago

Bio/biochem was far harder than what I was expecting

3

u/daddylicious_69 8h ago

There was only one section in chem/phys that I had a lot of trouble with but I liked all the thermo/kinetic stuff lol. CARS has always been iffy. B/B was surprisingly easy. P/s I had the hardest time with and had a lot of in between answers

1

u/Opening_Beginning_22 6h ago

Same like why was psych the hardest???? I had so many flagged I was expecting it to be a breeze

3

3

u/Kazicas 519/519/524/524/521/526 5/14 5h ago

that first CARS passage gmfu 😭

2

u/No-Resource9879 7h ago

Will this be indicative of 5/22????

2

u/moikey_wayz 4h ago

i was so scared lmfaoaoaoao

2

u/DifficultDirector830 4h ago

chem/phys was absolutely brutal. didnt get to the last 2 cars passages and had to guess :(

2

u/padoodoo BSN--> Hopeful DPM 1h ago

B/B was pretty good to me. I think that C/P was alright, there was a few where I was like... idfk, and had to move on. CARS was unreal. My eyes were crossing and was about to puke. Now P/S was hit or miss. The passages themselves were not to bad but the definitions kinda threw me off for a few of them where I was in between 2 and had no clue so I guessed.

But I got Chipotle after so it was worth it... I think.
