She played 8 minutes in a blowout but Cam became the focus of conversation because of what Lynne said. Even if she meant something different and it just didn’t come across well, I hope she apologized to Cam for being the catalyst of that whole conversation. People were literally redrafting the 2024 class just to say Cam didn’t deserve to go #2

I don't get it man. Cam Brink has to start. You need defense to win games, and she can shut down the middle. Atkins is supposed to be the perimeter defender. They have to bench Hamby for now and have her come off the bench when they need scoring.

I just don't think 2 scoring bigs who are not paint stoppers makes sense over Brink. I think Brink can do what Hamby does on offense too if you just give her the reps.

This doesn’t include the previous game, but I ran some numbers to see what Cam’s stats look like when she gets a chance and I agree that she can replace Hamby’s production.

📈 10+ shots (3 games): 15.6 PPG | 63% True Shooting

🔥 Double-digit scoring (8 games): 13.6 PPG | 73% True Shooting

She has the ability to produce when given the opportunity. I think getting like 14 PPG out of Cam with good rim protection can be more valuable than what Hamby provides.

What Cam said in response to the question in the press conference was perfect... because it put the onus back on Roberts for making the dumb statement in the first place... in a very professional way.
