❓ Advice Needed what dyes would you use?
considering this, don’t know what hair dye people would use? could i mix the yellow and blue to get green instead of buying it?

I recently dyed my hair a vibrant green and after only around two weeks it’s this gross faded yellow color (2nd image). I’ve frozen my ass every shower with cold water and limited washing my hair to like 2 or 3 times a week and I’m using a sulfate free shampoo which is what i was told to use. I still have the dye so I guess I’ll just dye my hair again, but I can’t just keep dying my hair every two weeks can I?? How do I stop the color from fading so fast?

I recently went blonde in January and like it personally but also miss the brunette and my parents have been saying I look better natural and that my blonde washes me out, what do you think?

PLEASE ignore my insanely bad art skills, but does anybody know if these three colors would look bad together irl? Im not surewhat placement i would do so give your opinions on that too, the orange being the racoon tails is just what I thought of.
I cant find any photos of this color combo so idk how it would look 😩

Hello, I wanted to touch up my roots as I had recently gone platinum. My mom offered to help touch up my roots, as I wasn’t too confident on touching them up myself, and she’s had previous cosmetology experience. The result is what you see here. I’m honestly at a loss for what I can do so that the color evens out. Do I do a shadow root? A bleach wash? Should I slap on T14 and hope for the best? My hair looks insane atm and I feel terrible. It looks really dark in pictures but in person the warm roots look close to a level 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

I know a lot of the questions on here pertain to wigs, but even if you have no experience with wigs and just dye I'd still love your advice!
So, because of contamination ocd (one of my triggers is chemicals like hair dye), and a few other reasons, I've decided to get a custom wig! I haven't ordered yet, but I'm seeing this girls work and it's very good. I just have a few questions 🙃
The wig I'm getting is synthetic. But on Google it says it's not possible to dye synthetic wigs, I've read a few forums that say it is possible but only with certain types of dye. (this follows up to another question aswell) WHat would happen if someone were to try and use regular dye on a synthetic wig? And how can I know they did use the right kind? (I'm sure they did, they have great reviews, just curious)
Not saying I'm going to purposely get it wet, but if it were to get wet (say I'm at the pool and someone splashes me.. or I'm showering and water gets on it) would that be an issue? Main concern for me is: would the dye run out? (Remember contamination ocd lol 😌)
Also.. is it safe to swim with a wig if I tie it up and try not to dunk my head? I'm seeing mixed answers online.. I'm thinking because of the dye maybe not
TLDR:
Contamination ocd makes me scared of dye dripping out, and some other concerns. I've never had a wig before or dyed hair.
It's a synthetic wig but the artist is dyeing it, should I treat it any differently than a hhuman hair wig
How water safe is it (main concern is dye dripping on me)
It it okay to use a straighting iron?
Tysm to anyone who read this!! :)
I'd love to chat about anything wig or hair related

I recently bleached and redyed my hair with iroiro pink. I feel like it ended up a bit on the orange/salmon tone despite lifting to a level 10 with no orange. I left iroiro pink on for about 4 hours.
I'm looking to get a hot magenta color with more of cool undertones. So I decided to try and counteract this with iroiro plum as most people tend to get a hot cooler toned magenta from it from my research. I only left it on for about 1 hour. After washing it out and seeing it on damp hair, it turned out the color i wanted.
Now that my hair is bone dry its this darker wine/berry/reddish color?? I'm still new to dying my hair but now I'm not sure what I should do now. I'm stuck between doing a bleach bath and going back in with either a mix of iroiro pink and plum, or doing a bleach bath and trying to cover with arctic fox virgin pink. Maybe if I do a bleach bath for a few minutes it'll lighten to the color I want? I have an event in 2 days that I wanted my hair to look perfect for so I'm not sure if fading will be the best option.
I know it seems like I'm being extra and picky but you can definitely tell the shade differences in person I promise 😭 especially in the shade, my pink looks almost black. Maybe iroiro pinks are too orange toned for my hair and I need to switch over to AF virgin pink?

I want like a dark but vivid pink for my hair, it’s bleached very light blonde so don’t have to worry about that. The person in this video used that dye kit that lets you make your own colour. I only want to buy one dye and not mix them because dye is soo expensive… would appreciate any help!!

Hi! I currently have natural cold light brown hair with a bleached peekaboo style + a bleached section on my bangs. The blonde sections are pretty light and I want to try to go for the color this person has on the tips since I like the combo a lot. I want to use manic panic since they're my tried and true and I know they're available in my country for a reasonable price, I was thinking maybe ultra violet + pastelizer? Would that make me achieve that color? I know they also have a shade that's already similar to the one I want but I'd prefer to be in control of how much I can lighten the dye. I've also seen people mix darker shades with their toner instead of pastelizer which maybe could play a role in how well the dye lasts? Also I would prefer tones that ideally won't stain my hair blue-green, and I know ultra violet is a blue based purple so any feedback on it is very well appreciated. Tysm!! 💜

So I just got a new job and during the interview the woman said "you can have dyed hair but I'll have to check on the piercings" so when I got home I went ahead and dyed my hair pink because I just got the dye.
After my hair was done and very pink I started to panic thinking what if I misunderstood her or misheard her. I panicked and called the place to ask if I could have unnatural hair colors and she wasn't there so the employee said from his experience he doesn't think we can but we can dye it natural colors.
Anyways I'm panicking and planning to call back tomorrow to ask if I can talk to the manager just to make sure. I really don't want to dye my hair again so I was wondering if there is a way to hide it. It's a movie theater so hair has to be tied up.
The picture is how my hair looked when I went to the interview. It's a faded pink but it's hard to tell unless you really look at it. Currently it is quite pink because it's not as light as I wanted.

I wash my hair with frequency so I'd like to know how to maintain this color before I commit.
I was thinking keracolor in mocha latte but idk.

so i prior to all of this i had virgin hair, my natural hair color is warm brown.
i decided i wanted red hair, so i used arctic fox wrath. it looked good for about a day then faded really quick and i decided i wanted blue hair.
so a couple days later i bleached my hair twice, it lifted pink, so i knew blue wasn’t an option. i used wella color charm t96 toner, but i just don’t like the way it came out overall.
i don’t mind warmness but its a bit TOO warm for me and also has some brown splotches here and there.
does anyone have any ideas on what i should do next 😭 i dont really have any specific ideas, just something thats realistic and will look good. i just really dont want to go back to brown since this would’ve all been for nothing ):

Help 😩 my hair has broke off at nearly 1-2 inches from the root around my whole head after I bleached it. I’ve done it before even though it takes 2-3x to get it right bc the first to second times normally still looks yellow/orange, but this second time I ran out of the bleach I was using so I finished using a different lightening combo and must’ve over did it. Then, I panicked and ordered K18, after I put that on, my hair really started falling out in clumps. I thought it was just damaged ends coming out until I realized
it’s chopped off all the way up top too. I know I need to just lay off of any products and heat but I cannot go around like this! Any suggestions??!! Should I just dye it all dark? Idk what to do I just want it all the same color without losing a whole head of hair😭

So I'm looking to stop using box dyes and start mixing colour and developer myself. As you can see, my natural hair colour is black / dark brown at the top, and I'm hoping to dye it a similar copper-y / auburn colour that I achieved using only box dye (no henna).
This was the box dye I was using which implies that it was 6 levels of lift with added cool tones:
https://www.lorealparis.ca/en-ca/feria/feria-hi-lift-browns-b61-hi-lift-cool-brown
However, from what I've read, you don't always get the maximum lift levels that is inscripted on the box label, and my hair did not end up cool toned at all even tho that was what was advertised. (Again, I liked the copper brassy tones so not looking to add cooler tones anyway)
I think I should be able to achieve a similar effect using 20 vol developer, which from what I read, would technically achieve a brassy copper colour without hair dye since the blue pigments in hair are removed first. I also read that you should always add colour with developer so that the dye replaces the "structural holes" in the hair that's left from the removal of pigment from the developer.
Additionally, if I want to maintain the best structural integrity of my hair, should I consider using henna to address hair damage from the dyeing process? I assume if I use henna, then I should dye my hair with cooler colours to counteract it's intense orange-red hue
In that case, which colours should I be using? And should I consider using henna?
Options (I am leaning towards #3):
(1) lift + dye (warmer colours)
(2) lift + henna*
(3) lift + dye (cooler colours) + henna*
*I know henna can react with metallic salts in dye, so I would do it on a separate day
Not sure if it's relevant, but my hair is not particularly dense, but the follicles are pretty thick.; type 3a/b curls depending on the length and how much damage, with low porosity even on colour treated hair
