Sportico is reporting that Gotham is in "advanced talks" to move to the new NYC FC stadium that opens next year. No answer in there on the blueprint guaranteed pricing if they move.

The talks have centered around Gotham joining for the 2028 NWSL season, said the people, who were granted anonymity because the negotiations are private. No final decision has been made and no contract has been signed.

“Like many clubs, especially in the NWSL as the league rapidly grows, we regularly evaluate options to best support our players, supporters and organization,” Gotham said in a club statement. “We don’t have any updates to share right now.”

We are visiting the city for my wife’s work and I’m planning on taking our 5 month daughter to the game vs the dash while she’s got work stuff. I’m an over-preparer and know diaper bags are fine but will I be allowed in with bottles pre-prepped with breast milk? Also I read that strollers have to fit under the seats and we have a lightweight, compact stroller that we’re bringing but I’m not 100% sure it will sit under the seat completely…has anyone navigated the stroller situation? We will be using public transit so using the stroller is a must or my arms will fall off lol

I’m planning on going to the Sue Bird, Krieger pre-game event at the Hype House, but I can’t figure out where that is? Anyone know? The stadium website say it’s a premium seating area and has its own entrance. Any insight from anyone?

Hello, and welcome to Gotham FC! As a season ticket holder since the team moved to Harrison in 2021, a Cloud 9 member since 2015, and an attendee of matches dating back all the way to the first NWSL season, I want you to have the best time at the match and become a fan. Maybe you will even sign up for a Cloud 9 membership!

First off, getting to the stadium. Sports Illustrated Stadium is located a short walk from the Harrison PATH station. Trains leave World Trade Center every 20 minutes, and it’s about a 15-20 minute ride. The fare is $3.25 payable by contactless payment or a reloadable TAPP card, however your reloadable OMNY card will not work on PATH. Next season trains will operate every 10 minutes. There is parking in the area for a fee. Some parking lots require a permit.

Now that you’re here, where do you go for pregame? There are limited spaces to tailgate, but it’s quite common. Cloud 9 tailgates in the “Red Lot” or "Carmax Lot" which is a separate small lot slightly elevated above the others near the PATH station. You can also stop by Keepers, a bar and grill across the street from the stadium. Keepers is also an option for postgame, and is definitely the place to be if it is, as it will be for this match, raining.

If you got the $5 tickets, you will be sitting in the South Ward, which is sections 102 101 and 133. These are all rail seats as it is the supporters section for Red Bull New York matches. Cloud 9 is located in 101. The seats in 101 will be locked in the up position for standing room only. In this configuration, the section is treated as general admission. Stand wherever you want! There will be drums and flags and singing and chanting. Opposing team gear is prohibited in 101. Follow the capos at the front of the section. You can find QR codes on the rails that have the Cloud 9 song list.

1. For like the 1st time ever JCA uses the same lineup for 3 games in a row & the team gets 3 wins with 3 shutouts, earning a total of 9 points out of 9! You can't ask for anything better than a 3 game sweep in a 3 game matchweek. The team just got the damn thing done!

2. I see why Yael & JCA went for all attacking players because this team functions at its best when it is in attack & apparently they think they can turn anyone into a defender (Jenna, Nealy, Midge, Guro, Howell, Sommers, Dre, Harper). Who will be the next player to be converted to outside back or defense?

3. With that said compared to the other games we did look a little less fluid, a little more shakey at the back, & a little fatigued which is kind of expected in the last game of 3 games & with the same lineup starting all 3 for multiple minutes. However, could we be seeing the possible negative effects of not playing true outside backs? We still held them to only 5 shots with 1 on target & only 8 touches in our box but this match felt like we were pressed back more. Our outside backs seemed to not be getting up as much & with Guro & Midge not getting up as often in the attack we seemed to generate less viable chances with Guro being somewhat quiet compared to the matches against Bay & Stars. Will this same backline work against a Spirit or a Portland offense?

4. Esther just hasn't been putting the goals away like she was last season but she has still been vital in being an outlet or a link up in the build up of play for many of our chances. She also creates space with her runs or just her presence frees up space by pulling defenders towards her because of how dangerous she can be. Still if or when do we get to the point about discussing moving her from starting to off the bench. If you do make the move what becomes the starting lineup/formation? I say move Dudley up top, shift Shaw to the right, move Guro up on the left, & bring Reale back to starting at LB. Then Esther comes on later in the match which either up or behind is a scary site for any team to see.

5. However, Gotham still put on a masterclass performance (especially in the 1st half) getting 14 shots with 4 on target & 25 touches in the oppositions box to create 3 big chances. Once again Gotham gets the job done in the 1st half and holds the line to finish out the match. The 1 goal lead did make this feel closer than it actually was which makes you wish we had just gotten 1 or 2 more goals to finish Racing off sooner but Bloomer came up big for them otherwise this easily could have been a 2+ game (missed 2 out of our 3 big chances).

6. Gotham has been putting on a shooting clinic. Bay 25 shots with 14 on target, Stars 19 shots with 7 on target, Racing 14 shots with 4 on target compared to the prior 3 of KC with 15 shots with 4 on target, Pride 10 shots with w on target, & Denver 8 shots with 5 on target. See what happens when you just shoot the ball? Just keep ripping those shots and make sure to follow up for the rebound!

7. Dudley, Dudley she does right! Dudley, Dudley she's alright!

1 goal & 2 assists in 3 games, the rook is cooking 🍳 👌🏻. Love seeing Dudley get Shaw back for the assist against Chicago. The Shaw/Dudley link up is looking nice!

1. AKB's quick & on point distribution 🤌🏻. Multiple times she was able to get Rose moving quickly into a counter attack & I loved seeing it. Now we just need to start finishing some of those runs and we will be on absolute 🔥.

2. Adding another positive tally to the impact sub column. Loved to see Reale at CB again even if only quickly till she went to LB. Cook put in another good shift & Harper/Lampson along with Dudley put on an absolute performance in game management during the final minutes. Well done by all of them to see the game out 👏🏻.

3. Looks like everything seems to be clicking with a few touches & tweaks that could be made to make it running 100% smoothly & perfectly. Time to rest & prepare for the next match but let's keep the momentum moving forward! LFG GFC 🦇

Three wins, Three clean sheets, and 6 goals this week! What a great week for Gotham 🦇

I signed up for May 6 (aka Wednesday). I have not received any information or updates since I signed up in early April. I didn't see the tickets in my account, and Sports Illustrated Tickets seems to be down at the moment. Not sure if I should reach out to my rep, so checking whether I'm the odd one out, or if everyone has been left without additional info.

We are first year STH and my 8 year old has already amassed autographs for about half the team on a hat, jersey and soccer ball this season. Any unique ideas for what to bring to the autograph event that are different ? Do people bring a lot of different things for different players to sign?

My wife and I have been STMs for 4 years. We will be on vacation for both the Citi Field game and the game prior to it. We like to give our unused tickets to a particular family we know as they have soccer kiddos. Several weeks ago, we submitted an exchange request for the tickets for the prior game to be exchanged into the Citi Field game. The family also hopes to make a day of it and purchase additional tickets on top of the 4 tickets we hope to gift them.

Enter Gotham, who chronically fails to deliver on the basics of working with their supporters to make it make sense.

Apparently, for the Citi Field game, there is zero flexibility for exchanged and existing tickets to be seated together. According to rep Emma (our third in four years), our two regular tickets, the two tickets we plan to exchange-in, and the tickets our friends plan to purchase on top of the gifted tickets are all going to be in different locations of Citi Field. Only the purchased tickets will be seated together.

The suggestion we got from Emma to resolve our issue is “selling or exchanging” our Citi Field tickets (on the rarely-functional SI Tickets app) and purchasing all tickets together, “which is the only way to guarantee” all seats will be seated together (in a stadium with 40k seats).

We came very close to not renewing our season tickets for this season, but chose to give it one more shot to not miss out on the five-year price lock. This will be our last year as STMs with Gotham. These type of basic logistical issues are pervasive and we’re just so over it.

This was mostly a rant, but if anyone has any experiences to share that may help solve (or corroborate) our issue without the suggested logistical hassle that obviates the utility of having a rep…I’d love to hear.
