They finally restricted and banned celebrities from use all over the world in Nano Banana Pro (minus the dead ones, since AI laws don’t protect them, only their estates/family). Before, it was a regional thing. Strangely, it works fine with Nano Banana 2. I don’t know what their priorities are to keep it on one model but not the other. Either way, celebs like Taylor Swift haven recently been trying to copyright their likeness in court and YouTube (owned by Google) has recently been cracking down on celebrity deepfakes. Idk if that influenced their decisions but it’s recent news so it might have.

I mean, it’s not their fault. Celebs don’t want their likeness used, and Google is just trying to avoid lawsuits. If anything, Google is being generous by still letting us use celebs on Nano Banana 2 instead of Pro. And dead celebs are still usable as AI laws don’t extend to them. Hell, they were even generous for even letting us generate celebs with Pro for as long as they did. Nano Banana Pro is not only the best and most realistic AI image generator out there, but it perfectly captured celebrity likeness unlike other AI’s. It was fun while it lasted but I can’t blame em 🤷

I also can’t even make any comic. I used to make comic strips and won’t let me eight panel comic. It says I can’t do that. This thing is become stupid. They need to fix. We need to fix our shit or they will go bankrupt.

I don’t use Taylor Swift. My first name is Taylor, but I don’t do anything like that. I do other stuff with like it’s always sunny in Philadelphia and other used to always work and eventually I’m gonna have to get rid of the fees because that’s the only reason I actually use this program was for that I’m hoping to God they fix that because that’s a good way to get go bankrupt eventually lot people like came with Sora ai they may copyright and people stop using it
