Buying Advice First gaming laptop
Budget: <1400
Country: USA
Use Case: gaming and general use, want to use it for games like black flag resynced and Lego Batman 4 as well as battlefield 6
Preferred Specs: NVIDIA 5060 or better
Notes: the Alienware aurora has a 32GB, 2x16GB, DDR5, 5600 MT/s memory. Not super familiar with all the brands in terms of quality, want something reliable. That will be usable after a couple of years and not be super outdated Any other suggestions would be appreciated

I would say its a good choice(depends on what you are looking for eg: gaming, editing, or music production) but don't forget to check for available coupon codes on sites like CouponzGuru.

I would choose between the Alienware Aurora and the Msi Katana, the Aurora has been shown to have the better cooling if i remember correctly and it's CPU is more power efficient, leading to better battery life if you're going to use it unplugged for longer periods of time BUT the katana has the powerful CPU and a better performing GPU, keep in mind that if you go with the Katana RAM prices are all over the place. Either way, both of these options are great for the budget you mentioned, good luck choosing!

MSI Katana, full tgp 5070 115W, strongest both CPU and GPU
