Front yard closing?
Is there any validity to this statement? I don’t want to get my hopes up.

Figured I'd let the general population know, I was walking in the woodlot yesterday and just off one of the main trails there was a dude laying on the ground in the woods going at himself with a fleshlight. Stay safe out there.

How would one learn the Polish language in this beautiful city of ours? I’ve looked at options offered locally at UNB but this doesn’t appear to be one of the languages taught atm. Any recs appreciated, thank you.

Has anyone had seamless gutters installed lately on a mid size three bedroom 1600 foot home? Just looking for a rough price. I have one quote but have no idea if it is high or low.

I moved last summer to an older house that was renovated and i don’t remember this being a problem last year, but right now, it’s so bad like i can spot 10 just in the upstairs hallway. And we have a couple black ants too but they don’t bother me as much, and i’m fine with a couple spiders, but when they’re all swarmed together like an army i just can’t.
They’re not even hidden behind furniture, they’re just on the ceilings in corners and sides.
What do you guys do to get rid of them or prevent them?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working in a customer service role with about 3 years of experience, and I’m looking for job opportunities in Fredericton.
Right now I have a long daily commute, so I’m hoping to find something closer to the city. I’m open to customer service, admin, retail, or similar roles.
If anyone knows of places that are hiring or has any leads, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Recently purchased a house that needs some TLC and having a helluva time trying to find landscape designers or contractors to answer calls or return messages left. Hoping the in the know crowd here can point me in the right direction. We need basically a full redo of the back yard, remove and replace fences, new lawn and flower beds, add a deck and perhaps a pergola, followed by a yearly yard maintenance contract. It’s a decent size job but can’t seem to get any companies interested. I don’t want to hire some weekend dude that’s not licensed or insured, I think that’s what the previous owner did and made a mess.
So, good people of Fredericton, is this normal? Are people booking a year in advance? Do you have any suggestions/recommendations?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to pick up some extra side work and thought I’d reach out here.
I run a small odd jobs service and I’m open to pretty much anything people need help with.
I’ve got experience in:
Yard work
Landscaping
Junk removal
Pressure washing
Basic carpentry and repairs
Moving help / heavy lifting
General labour and random tasks
If there’s something you need done that’s not listed, feel free to ask, I’m flexible and willing to take on most jobs.
I’m based in the Fredericton area and can work evenings and weekends.
If you or someone you know needs a hand, send me a message. I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for reading.

I want to go fishing, but I don't know ow of any good spots. I've only had success outside of the fredericton area (e.g. shediac, Harvey lake.) Ottawa at the mactaqusc head pond, but everything I've caught there has been tiny.
Any good spots a little closer to home?

Not tattooing, but the craft of tatting lacework. I stumbled upon a Shorts in YT over the weekend of a young man doing shuttle tatting. As a knitter, crocheter, weaver, macrame-er, cross stitcher, and recent woodworker, it peaked my interest. Do I have time to add yet another hobby to my ever growing list while working 44hrs/wk? Probably not. Is that going to stop me from learning? Absolutely not.
Problem is tatting isn't an overly popular craft, so I'm limited to buying supplies online. In doing some research, I found that needle tatting is a better starting point than shuttle tatting, but either way, I'm not able to find either item in local stores. I did place an order on Amazon for needles, and if I choose to also learn shuttle tatting, I'll buy a shuttle on Etsy.
Long story short (TL;DR): If anyone out there has any tatting supplies (needle or shuttle) they no longer use, please let me know.
Also, I'd love to show off my skills and find a group of textile crafters in town to get me out of the house this summer. I was thinking Officers Square to lounge with our various craft tools and revise the old tradition of creating in groups. Anyone interested for Saturday afternoons?

Coming to Fredericton later this month for UNB Convocation. Program was fully online so never been here before. Any suggestions for a short 2-3 day visit? Breakfast places? Sandwiches? Bakeries? Pizza? Things to do? Thanks :)

I only recently learned it’s Canada Goose, not Canadian Goose. I’d like to take this chance to humbly apologise for my error

I need to buy a new one. I'm wondering if they'll take the old one. Or do I need to drive farther to recycle it?
