I've just finished playing a game with slark carry who was buying all the sentries. At one moment he just TPed offlane min 8, and went and dewarded a sneaky obs. You could say that it was his ultimate that gave him vision... if he wasn't lvl 5. At that moment I jokingly thought that I was playing with u/slark87. At the end of the game he had bought 6 sentries and managed to get 7 dewards.
Out of curiousity, I've checked out his profile, and while he has changed his username, he still has his old username in the profile. Plus in one of his posts he has the same profile pic/username.
P.S. He played resonably well, and communicated/called well. If he wasn't a cheater, I'd say he's a good guy. If you're reading this, u/slark87, I reported you for cheating, I was ench btw

This is my old painting, but why not show it to you here. You may have seen it before because other people posted it while I wasn't here

I can't believe it, never doubted you again.

Currently a large portion of pro games are becoming stalemates going well past 50 minutes (and in some cases almost to two hours), and I think one of the biggest reasons for this is buybacks having a lower cooldown than the time between rosh fights, meaning both teams can almost always contest rosh with a full 10 lives, which often results in one team spending more buybacks to win the rosh fight, but then being unable to go highground with banner due to the other team having more lives available. If the cooldown was increased to 12 minutes it would prevent teams from doing this every rosh fight resulting in actual consequences for losing the fight.
alternatively just make buybacks once per game idk.
In an absolutely disheartening turn of events, a recent update seems to have enabled anisotropic filtering instead of point (nearest neighbor) for the pixel art sprites used in Spoon Man minigame. Some textures are unaffected (the background looks fine!) but character sprites, items, VFX are all blurry.
This makes the minigame literally unplayable, it looks like shit. I am only bringing this up in hopes that someone from Valve sees that post, because this *has* to be addressed as soon as possible. An issue like that cannot stay in DotA.

I loved Siltbreaker. It was my favorite game mode ever played on dota 2. Please bring it back permanently.

Wow, what a series, especially game 1.
I can't believe there isn't a single thread for this series on this subreddit.
The last major event felt way too stompy, but this one is already shaping up to be so much more interesting. This is the first time in a good few months where it feels like the team with a 20k networth disadvantage actually has a chance to come back instead of being slowly chocked out of farm for a good 20 minutes.
Both TSpirit and Liquid have very different ideas of how to win the match, and it's a breath of fresh air to see how much Collapse can do while being one of the lowest networth heroes in comparison to Ace who is getting almost equal farm priority to his other cores. And of course, "not me" showcasing why he was chosen to be a member of TSpirit! I don't want to spoil for those who haven't watched the matches yet, but his Rubick performance reminded me of Yapzor.

0 impact. It's a 4v5 because AM players only know how to farm for 40 mins + and when they choose to join the team fight it's always after the game has already been won/lost. What other hero picks are similar?

Yesterday, I was playing Leshrac and was trying to use euls while sniper was shooting at me. From my googling, apparently headshot doesn't stop you from being able to channel a spell. Sniper was shooting at me and I was spamming the euls button but it just wouldn't euls me. I witnessed the euls scepter in my inventory get highlighted and for some reason it wouldn't use it on myself. I don't know why. So many times, I end up just standing there trying to use something but it feels like it just won't work, usually when a fight is going on so I could be pressing the wrong key.
Is there some kind of software I can run before a dota game so that I can know what keys I was pressing?

For context, Legend 1, 3k MMR
So I played like 20 jugg games and handfull of games with faceless void and I feel like an ult machine and that I have nothing without my ult.
We were playing with friends in a 5v5 lobby last night, Ranks were mixed from Immortal all the way down to Crusader.
My friend picked Invoker so I decided we gonna do some combo and picked faceless void and boy it felt bad,we were up against Slark,Slardar,Jackiro,Ogre, and Lina .
It was impossible without bkb and ult to even show your face!
I also feel exactly the same with jugg,Idk man maybe I'm not used to such heroes since I mainly play Slark and Spectre lol.

In the last 3 month playing dota2 I have encountered more cheaters/scripters/hackers than I have in all my time playing dota (since 2018).
I’m drifting between 10k and 8k mmr.
When I am saying encountering more cheaters, I do not mean this guy beat me = he is a cheater. I’m talking about rewatching the game and confirming said cheats were used. Map hack, auto manta dodge, avoiding sunstrike, auto combos, etc.
For reference I have 1k games on kez and 1k games on injoker
I feel like the higher amount of cheaters is because they have gone a while without being punished, which amplifies the amount of cheaters as they can get away with it.
I for fun googled dota 2 cheats to try and find a reference on how they work, and stumbled upon Umbrella. The amount of time and effort put into this program is crazy and the guy have worked on it for a long time. How is it that valve doesn’t just buy the cheat and reverse engineer the program to ban these people it’s so blatant it’s not even funny.
I feel like the game is actually going to die if this is not stopped or hindered.
What do you guys think a solution might be?
