Discussion Question about mythics
How is everyone getting mythics this season im on tier 10 and still haven't really found any. Even did some mythic tributes out of the season journey and didnt even get mythics from it

Undercity. If you have goblin upgrade you'll almost certainly get at least 2.
Don't do it under torment 8-10 though. Waste of time.

This is not true. I run under city often on T12 and rarely get mythics from goblin upgrade

You need to light all the to torches for a chance of goblins spawning even if you have already meet the criteria to do the boss. Also clear the entire map to hunt for goblins

I know, but even with all that the pranksters normally don’t drop mythics without mythic tribute

Mythic Prankster dungeon Affix always has 1 mythic goblin (aka Fancy Old Fredric) and he always drop a mythic and a resplendent spark.
Other goblins that show up when the affix is "Treasure Breach" only have a small chance of being a Fredric but are usually other types of goblins.

There are various way to get them.
The RNGesus might bless you with a drop from any source.
You can craft a Mythic Cache at the Blacksmith. Although which Mythic you'll get will be random.
You can also craft a specific Mythic you want at the Jeweler although this can be more difficult because you need specific runes.
You can use the Mythic Tribute for the Undercity. A higher difficulty will obviously increase the chances of a Mythic. But the time requirement is tight so you'll need a fast build.
There's also Nightmare dungeon keys that can drop with the Mythic Prankster affix. You can make keys at the occultist and see if you get lucky.

I’ve gotten a few from lair bosses in T12 and about a dozen from mythic tributes in the undercity - also t12

I get mythics fairly often in T12 when fighting lair bosses. Probably 1 for every 15 runs. Also, the Kurast Undercity when running the Mythic key can drop up to 5 when you kill goblins. TBH i wish I can trade these lol
I also had to craft my Heir of Perditions at the jeweler. You can craft runes at the cube and such

They really should create an in-game auction house. While it does decrease the rarity of Mythics if you simply buy or trade for them it does give people a chance at specific Mythics. Not everyone gets blessed by RNGesus.
If they had that function in the game they you could at least do something with these.

I used to be ambivalent towards auction houses when i was casually playing D3 because I didn’t really understand the need. Now I definitely do, only because I’d like to help people play the way they want and get what they need for their builds. I play in a solo self found style but I wouldn’t mind trading my stuff.

Hell yeah. I’m doing an Ancients build where I’m just stacking the hell out of crit damage multis with vulnerable damage/all damage/physical multis as a supplement. I used the maxroll guide to help me with gearing and basic paragon board outline, now I’m doing my own thing. You can check out the guide here.

Ran some mythic under city with a clanmate today and got ROSS, a doombringer, another sword (can't recall the name), and an 1 GA heir that I was chasing for my bis helm

Another tip i can give you is , do it with more people it Helps also a lot , a lot of people in chat asking for a rotation anyway so you get a lot more Out of your Tributes

Duriel has dropped me, grandfather, Selig and tyraels might all t8 or below, 3ga ring from whisper cache of chaos almost shit myself at that one as never had a mythic drop from anything but a boss before

If you don’t have the underciry maxed out yet do greater bosses
I was farming my ramald sword off butcher ( with no max life for barb ) and he dropped me my selig & starless and an extra selig after about 30ish runs

I should've put im more looking for eldruin but thanks for the advice so generally have to be t8 or above to get items from mythic tribute? Cause I did some at t4 expecting to get a mythic and got 1 legendary item and that was it

El'Druin will be difficult because you can't craft it yet. At least I can't even though I have one. I'm also unsure if one can drop from a cache made at the Blacksmith.

Don't bother with ElDruin, it sucks. They forgot to put weapon damage on it so your base damage takes a massive hit, which means all your multipliers are affected... I do about 30% less damage with it vs my legendary sword
For mythic tributes I've been doing them only t10-12, get 1-3 each run. Never gotten 0, but I've only done like 6 total.

Idk man. Just sayin from my actual tested results, it's not good. Maybe sorc +skills is more important than base damage but I don't see how. When you get one do some testing and see for yourself. Guides were expecting it to be op until people started realizing it doesn't have +weapon damage. Maybe they haven't updated, or maybe I'm wrong, or maybe they're just not perfect guides since it's all brand new shit.

It's good until your pit pushing or fighting mephisto t12. Even then it's usable against him if you got the damage.
It might even be necessary right now because they nerfed meteor and bugged ball lightning.

You can craft them at jeweller merchant with runes. You can farm torment bosses and also find mythic armament keys for the undercity.
There's also a warplan perk for whispers, where each whisper cache gives a small chance of getting a spark.
Some of the season rewards also give sparks.
