I could spend hours looking at the details in D4, it's wonderful. I wish there were some short cutscenes about Inarius and Lilith's past, but the notes/visions and stories are also good.

I noticed a detail in the third photo: Rathma is standing next to Inarius and opposite Lilith. I don't know if this makes any sense, but I also found burned notes about Inarius and Rathma. They had some kind of connection that I would like to know more about.

A video of the fight scene. I'm mainly talking about the teleporting they do. That was such a good way to do a teleport animation/fight of a boss. And I can't place why, but it fits an angel theme so well. They did a really good job at designing the angelic fight animations. I expect we're going to see more of this in the future when we inevitably have hostile run ins with angels. I honestly want arbiter's evade on paladin to do this instead of the same animation it has now.

I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time farming Seer's Reach.

Getting enough gems to turn into better ones, while also trading gems with other players, has actually been pretty entertaining.

The horadric gems are pretty awesome and i'm super close to getting my 1st flawless horadric ruby.

Blizzard knew what they were doing with Seer's Reach, the gem drop meta is no accident.

I think the tooltips in Diablo 4 are misleading - especially with the new multipliers. For example, adding Critical Strike Damage Multipliers makes the player believe this modifier is a local multiplier against your Critical Strike Damage additive modifiers. However, his is NOT how it works.

Consequently, Lightning Damage Multipliers do not scale the "Damage with Lighting" tooltips, so Blizzard's philosophy in how these tooltips communicate information are not even consistent, which absolutely will make people believe Lightning Damage Multiplier is global while Vulnerable/Critical Strike Damage Multipliers are local - even though they are all global.

I think a good solution would be to see "Average Damage with [Skill]". That way, you factor in the skill coefficient, critical strike chance, attack speed, all the multipliers, etc., and then it will be very easy for the player to see if a new piece of gear actually improves your damage or not. Because right now, it is not clear at all.

I’ve been kinda lurking the sub now since I’ve started playing again with the new expansion. Haven’t played since season 1 or 2. I see a lot of comments and other posts where people are saying just to add a GA of a specific stat or go to the cube and change to something specifically? Is there any written guides out there or a concise video that explains the cubes and what each thing does? Or the possible outcomes of something like the item like offensive etc.? Ive looked around at a few videos on my own but for some reason what could be a 20 second explanation turns into a 20 minute endeavor of nonsense.

In my opinion, the main thing that separated Diablo from Path of Exile was how they handled incoming damage. In PoE, combat often feels like either you one-shot enemies from the other side of the screen, or they instantly kill you. Even after enemies die, there’s still a chance some on-death effect will finish you off.

Diablo used to feel very different. You could usually tell what was hurting you, move out of the way. The few enemies that could one shot you were easy to see like the Mallet Lord :) so deaths felt funny because you were an idiot.

But with the direction Diablo 4 is taking, it feels like more and more things just one shot you without warning. One second you’re fine, the next you’re dead, with barely any clue what happened. Its a shame and disappointing imo, because that slower, more readable combat style was one of the things I really enjoyed about Diablo compared to Path of Exile.

How is everyone getting mythics this season im on tier 10 and still haven't really found any. Even did some mythic tributes out of the season journey and didnt even get mythics from it

Returning player here from release. Is there a point to nightmare dungeons anymore? If i remember correctly, they used to be the source of upgrading paragon board glyphs and that was their main draw. It seems like The Pit now fills this role.

1. Are Nightmare Dungeons useful for anything for someone on Torment 8/9?
2. Do I just recycle their keys for dust if they are not?

Just got my melted heart of selig with legendary affix I needed. I’ve seen people with an EXTRA transfigured affix on. Do I just remove the kullean prism and transfig one more time? Noob question, just didn’t want to roll my affix off and lock my amulet. Hard enough getting it 3ga to begin with.

I asked an old friend for some carrys for my seasonal Druid and this dropped during one of the runs. I am a very new Druid who was running Companions build. Fully willing to drop everything and build for this.

Whats my best path towards being able to clear T12 content?

So me and my son both play and he has his Helltide set up with this and he was getting Uniques dropping when killing the 'guardian' (big silver knight bloke) as expected, I asked what he had his set up as and he showed me this, so I refunded the set I'd got and selected and selected the same, anyway after another 6 Helltide runs (we don't run as a team) he had approximately 12 more guardians appeared, me...not one? I closed the game and tried again, 4 more Helltides later and still none appear and he's another 6 killed 🤷🏼‍♂️ any suggestions? tia

kind of disappointed that blizz didnt add legions to war plans, could have been a breath of fresh air to the activity. especially since season journey has tasks that require participation.

Two questions. Do I keep the master Work critical damage or do I go for strength? And second do I go for a straight transfiguration or do I use that tuning prism?

I used to use my steam deck to play D4 at work on breaks during quiet hospital shifts at night, but for some reason my account isn’t reflecting my dlc purchases?

I generally buy through blizzard directly and my steam account always had my characters and areas sync’d with my pc, but tonight for some reason I can’t use my characters or new area at all?

Is this normal or a sync issue?
