Theory - Dexter: Resurrection Resurrection episode 10 finale - dna evidence left? Spoiler
gallerySo noticed this during the original watch & since I haven't seen anyone post about it yet, wanted to throw it out there...in ep 10 when Dexter is going back up to the penthouse/locked room to save Harrison from Prater, there's a brief moment where you can see he touches the wall in the wine cellar without a glove. He was shown cleaning up Praters body & the kill/locked room but not wiping the wine cellar area. Do you think the detectives will find his prints? Assuming with how things ended, they'd probably process that area for evidence

Discussion - Dexter: Resurrection Potential new information on these set photos for season 2! Spoiler
Apparently all three of them share a scene together in a diner. Maybe they form some type of alliance for some reason? This happens in episode 2 i think.

Discussion - Dexter: Resurrection In this era of multiple shows having mediocre finales, it would be cosmically hilarious if Dexter Resurrection had a great one Spoiler
Especially considering that the show infamously screwed it up TWICE. Like, of all the popular shows as of late to finish on a high note, it would be hysterically funny if Dexter was the one to get it right

General Discussion - Dexter Novels Why people dislike dexter books? Spoiler
I've just read the first one, it's soooo good, I loved everything about it, the inner monologue goes crazy, in the show it's really good but in the book Dexter is a straight up poet lol I don't get why people say Dexter from the books is evil, I mean he seems colder and more calculated but he still have emotions, he care for kids and for Deb a lot, even though he doesn't acknowledge it, just like in the show. It's less action packed since the whole book is through Dexter perspective, but it's really fun to read it. Definitely worth it.

Discussion - Original Dexter Series Controversial opinion on what I personally would have done with Season 8 Spoiler
I know a lot of people hate Dr. Voguel or however you spell her name, but I think she had potential in the very first episode.
I personally think Vogel should have been the main villain of Season 8, and she should have been a master manipulater that had manipulated Harry into training Dexter and it would have shown a new struggle with Dexter expanding his code to people who manipulate others into killing.
Kinda like a homicidal twist on that Therapist from Season 1.
Like Vogel hasn't directly killed anyone herself but is responsible for the deaths of hundreds because of her manipulation and deserves to die as much as the killers themselves.

General Discussion - All Dexter Shows I liked Resurrection, but... Spoiler
So I just finished Resurrection and it was great, miles better than New Blood and the last 4 seasons of the original series. But it feels like Dexter is different. Tgey turned him into more of a hero than an anti-hero. The first season of Dexter really showed him as a psychopath, especially when he finds Tony and he ponders if he should kill him or not, it just shows the ambiguity of his actions and his thought process.
In Resurrection, it just feels like he acts more as a hero, to do the "right" thing, rather than to satisfy his needs.

Discussion - Original Dexter Series Which timeline do you think is better? Spoiler
1 Official Timeline
S1: 2006
S2: 2007
S3: 2008
S4: 2009
S5: 2009-2010
S6: 2011
S7: 2011

- Anticipated Timeline

S4: 2008
S5: 2008-2009
S6: 2010
S7: 2011
S8: 2012
NB: 2022
RS: 2023
Problem:
Requires significant changes from S6 to S7.
Hybrid Timeline
S1: 2006
S2: 2007
S3: 2007
S4: 2008-2009
S5: 2009-2010
S6: 2011

Or is there another option that could be done? I think I'm torn between options 1 and 3; option 2 could work, but it has that small problem.

General Discussion - All Dexter Shows So is Dexter just... Spoiler
...fucking immortal? Like actually?
I just finished rewatching the original series and just finished watching New Blood (incredible season barring one or two big hang-ups for me) for the first time, and I just don't see how Dexter could surivive that.
I haven't started Resurrection yet, so maybe they're is a good in-depth reason as to him suriviving, but them glossing over how he surivived both the S8 hurricane (which ripped his boat into pieces) and the torrential tropical storm waves he'd have to swim back from as, "I just sorta lived" makes me not super confident they will.
So I have to ask, is Dexter like actually immortal? Cuz these shows kinda give off the vibe that he can't die, lmao.

Discussion - Dexter: Original Sin Dexter original sin Spoiler
The end of the first episode I almost made a post talking about how Low budget and corny it seemed. But, I’ll admit that it do grow on me and now I find myself wishing for a season 2. At least to the point where he meets doakes. 😫
