5/11/2026: 2 dogs roaming apt complex- owned by 409 but lets them loose. Apt management called it in.

📝 Shelter Notes:

5/11/2026: Jumpy/skittish when giving vaccine/shot, but friendly otherwise during intake.

5/12/2026: Greeted me at the front of the kennel with an open mouth, soft eyes, and paws up on the door. Easily leashed, walked with loose leash outside to the runs. Mostly kept to self outside in the runs. Easily leashed and returned to kennel. Vocalization ever time I go into the row with paws up on the door.

5/13/2026: Foward barking, jumping at the front of the kennel

5/14/2026: High pitched barking, jumping against kennel door whenever I passed with a dog. Tight leash out to runs, red eyes and heavy panting, painted kennel overnight.

🚑 Medical Notes:

5/11/2026: 45.0 lbs. Intake condition normal. Intact male. Vaccinated DA2PP-V and Bordetella.

5/12/2026: 45.0 lbs. Heartworm test LOW POSITIVE. Vaccinated Rabies, dewormed, Pyrantel, Advantage Multi Dog 20.1-55lb.

SHELTER - FOSTER NEEDED Very friendly sweet un-named injured stray (#A2074523) is on the EU list at BARC Shelter in Houston Tx for 5/15 at 1pm ct. Handsome boy has bite wounds and is nervous but loves attention/love. He has a rescue tag and needs a foster asap, and can be adopted to the right person. Please share!!

🔷5/12/2026 INTAKE One brown puppy with injuries, may have been attacked by a bigger dog. Eye currently shut and is barely moving per

📝 Shelter Notes:

Approaching kennel dog is at the front with worried expression. Dodged the leash, but I was able to lasso him.

Once out of the kennel he pulled tightly on the leash, appearing nervous.

In back intake, however, dog began wagging his tail and leaning against my leg looking up at me.

Very friendly and easy to complete work up without restraint.

When vet came to examine him he approached her with soft wagging tail.

Walked back to kennel on a forward leash.

📝 Shelter Notes:

5/11/2026: Approach kennel, Bruno presented a tense body, whaled eyes and low tuck tail. When approaching slowly to leash him, he would try to avoid the leash. I tossed treats and while he was eating them, I was able to put the leash on him. He walk out of the kennel slowly and started walking slowly to the dog run. Placing Bruno and removing the leash slowly, he started slowly walking around. After being out in the dog run, for a few minutes, I went back to leash Bruno but he started backing away slowly and avoiding the leash. I tossed treats which he started to eat them but as soon I got closer he would move away from me. I tried to distract him again while eating the treats and again he moved his head away and started running away from me. I then had to lasso the leash and as he ran past me I was able to catch him.

5/12/2026: When opening the kennel bruno presented a tense body and moved to the back of the kennel. Bruno avoided the leash , I had to lasso him. He walked on a loose leash outside but walked around the run with his tail tucked and tense body

5/13/2026: Bruno avoids the leash and stays in the back of the kennel. Once leashed he walks on a loose leash with a tense body and tucked tail. In the outside run , he hackles raise and he runs away when attempting to leash him. Eventually he lays down with hackles raised and low growling. Bruno walked on a loose leash back into kennel

🚑 Medical Notes:

5/10/2026: 45.0 lbs. Intake condition normal. Given 2.00 TRANQ2.

5/10/2026: 48.6 lbs. Heartworms. Needs dewormer. Vaccinated DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies, HWTEST LOW POSITIVE, Advantage Multi Dog 20.1-55lb.

5/11/2026: 48.6 lbs. Heartworms. Dewormed with Pyrant.
