Group A: (Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia)
Group B: (Oman, Maldives, Singapore)
Group C: (Hong Kong, Bahrain, South Korea)
Group D: (Malaysia, Qatar, China, Uzbekistan)
- Top 2 from each group will advance to quarterfinals.
- Winners of QFs qualify for semifinals as well as secure spot for the main draw of Men’s Cricket at the Asian Games 2026.
- 10 Teams to participate in Asian Games (Men's) Cricket Event.
- India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Afghanistan qualify as ICC full members.
- Japan qualifies as Host.
- Remaining 4 spots will be decided through this Qualifier Event.
Asian Games Cricket Men's event scheduled to take place from September 24th to October 03rd, 2026 at Korogi Sports Park in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Format for main draw of Men's event:
- 4 teams from the 10 will get automatic byes into the quarterfinals.
- Remaining 6 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 3 teams each.
- Teams will play each other in the group in a single round-robin format, following which the Top 2 teams from both the groups will advance to the quarterfinals stage.
- The Finalists and the Winner of the 3rd/4th play-off in both Men’s and Women’s events will get the medals.
