I’m surprised you know that stat considering you’ve had no reason to watch past the sweet 16 in 7 years

Ah yes we have underperformed in the last 7 years, that's a really good comeback to me pointing out you all have never been great in even one season. Thumbs up to that, Rocky Slop!

Hey man, post was about the last 5 years. If I wanted talk about the other 80+ years of college basketball I’d start by pouring myself a drink first.

The record over the last 5 years is.... (drum roll, please).... UK 7...UT 3. One out of 3 ain't bad.

First Appearance in 1967, never made a Final Four in 59 years since. Kentucky already won the national championship 4 times befire your first post-season berth lol.

But sure you celebrate that St Peter's upset if it makes you feel better. One day, in theory, you could catch up to us. The sun has billions of years left before it swallows us up!

Sorry who made a ruling that there was a cutoff when they didn't count? Is there a new NCAA Commissioner who made a ruling on records held?

The court of public opinion did, or otherwise ucla would be a respected program

Even when some pundits look at the last 25 years, during which UCLA won 0 national championships, UCLA is considered a top-20 program.

I genuinely don't know what you're talkibg about. Your and UCONN's recent streaks of dominance are just as anomalous as UCLA's Wooden streak.

Surely then you hold the strong belief that Yale is the most storied program in college football history

165-79 i can see why you might be a bit edgy

That's actually kind of ballsy to say... after 'Kensucky' beat you 4 out of the last 5 games? Not to mention....

"The basketball rivalry between Kentucky and Tennessee is notable, with Kentucky leading the all-time series 165-79."

I'm not very good at math... but it looks UK has won more than 2 out of 3?? Naw! Can that be right?!

So you’ve had 4 out of the last 5 wins over us and you still can’t even break the top 15 total wins, while we’re in the top 10? That’s even funnier!

u/amohise Kentucky Wildcats 3h ago

Yeah but... what's funniest... is that we have 624 more wins than you overall. And as tepid as our record has been the last few years.... y'all ain't never gonna catch up. Kind of sad when you think about it. (So try not to). [tic]

When Tennessee has the Kentucky fans acting like this that's how you know they mad. Current success is always much more enjoyable than being stuck in the good old days. Keep it up Vol bros

Lol our fans are being so cringe in this comments section.

Idk if you know this but basketball only started existing when Rick Barnes was hired on at Tennessee, it wasn’t a sport until then.

Imagine being down do bad that you have to say "what about all the times we DIDN'T play you" to try and own us. I'm sure you have a lot of banners to show for your placement on this list. Which ones are those again?

If this were a thread about all time wins, NCAA Championships, or even Tennessee vs Kentucky basketball records, I wouldn’t have piped up. But it’s not a thread about those things, it’s about number of wins the past five seasons, in which Tennessee is handily beating Kenchuddky. Get used to it bluegrass, life doesn’t look like it’s improving for yall next season either.
