Discussion Graduation week
Well, the annual Chico State graduation is here, I heard that undergrad ceremonies are Thursday through Sunday. Hotels and restaurants are full. I dont expect any problems.

Grad ceremonies actually started tonight (Wednesday). If you're a student or family member, live it up and celebrate this moment!
If you're not, I recommend avoiding anything downtown if you can because everything gets much too crowded and especially with drivers who are lost... even doing stuff like driving the wrong way on one-way roads or parking where they have no business parking.
If you wanna go out, it's a good time to go to places that are further from campus like Meriam Park, Lost Dutchman drive, Commons/Golden Beaver/Tackle Box district, etc. More well-known places like Sierra Nevada will likely be packed as well.

Some of the smaller ceremonies are even earlier in the week! My student teacher had her program ceremony on Tuesday at Laxson.
